Jerusalem is at the center of Middle East controversy, the city placed on the proverbial chopping block by the American president and the international community for division in order to bring about a Palestinian state. More than that, it is peace in our time the world leaders say they seek. There is a new prince in this process, and he has, in effect, just been anointed as such by the globalist organization that officially pronounces such commendation.

President Barack obama was named the 2009 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize this past week. His nomination was actually made nine days into his presidency, then his selection as winner was announced October 8. The decision, made from a record 205 candidates, was unanimous.

Despite his brief time in the international spotlight, Mr. obama received much glowing praise, such as that from Mohamed ElBaradei, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, and a former Nobel Peace Prize winner: "In less than a year in office, he has transformed the way we look at ourselves and the world we live in and rekindled hope for a world at peace with itself," ElBaradei said. "He has shown an unshakable commitment to diplomacy, mutual respect and dialogue as the best means of resolving conflicts" (Joel Rosenberg’s Weblog, 10/9/09).

obama's being vaulted into the position of chief peacemaker by those who help serve as king-makers before the world's media, thus the eyes and ears of the world, raises many questions—especially in the minds of those who look beyond first-glance meaning. Questions rise to the surface of this anxiety-fraught time. Why has a man of only 48 years of age, who has no accomplishments of any distinction in matters of international peace-making, and little experience in anything else except community organizing in Chicago, and a few hours spent actually working in the U.S. Senate before being elected president of the United States, suddenly been declared the top man of peace by the Nobel committee?

Despite Mohamed ElBaradei's acclamation of obama's peace-making, there is no such achievement to be found, only claims of achievement.

For example, President obama met in July with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on nuclear arms control. The leaders agreed that their negotiators would work out a new limit on delivery vehicles for nuclear warheads of between 500 and 1,100. They also agreed that warhead limits would be reduced from the current range of 1,700-2,200 to as low as 1,500.

Yet, despite the fact that the obama Administration has agreed to step back from installing a land-based defensive missile shield in parts of Europe in order to placate them, the Russians recently announced a step up in their strategic nuclear capability. This announcement followed obama's talking on his trips to Europe and beyond about how America will begin downsizing its nuclear arsenal in the hope others will follow suit for the sake of one day achieving total nuclear disarmament.

One must ask: Is this true achievement in the matter of world peace—or is it shades of "peace in our time" in 1939?

Such "peace-making"—applied to Israel and the Mid-East peace process—is especially troubling, although quite intriguing, in my view. Joel Rosenberg wrote about the possible surreptitious things that might currently be plotted in that regard. Rosenberg foresees a scenario where the United Nations Security Council might, in an effort to take the spotlight off Iran's developing nuclear weapons, instead shine it on Israel. The UN, observably an anti-Israel organization in large part, would through Security Council resolution, in Rosenberg's scenario, force Israel, which has never acknowledged possessing nuclear weaponry, to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Israel would then be forced to open itself to inspection. Any refusal might lead to an international coalition against the Jewish state in an effort to force it to comply. This could be attempted, either through severe sanctions against Israel, isolating it from the world community of nations, or even by attacking it, as happened against Saddam Hussein's Iraq in both recent Gulf conflicts.
Secondly, Rosenberg ponders the possibility of the international community creating, then recognizing, a Palestinian state through fiat, rather than through a negotiating process. Such unilateral action would almost certainly set up a confrontation of biblical proportions, he believes. The world community has long wanted Israel to give in to demands, but has shown no such impatience for the leaderships of Israel's antagonists. Rosenberg correctly points out that President obama has increasingly—in recent speeches given while he travels the world—taken the lead on this effort. He is demanding that Israel return to its pre-1967 borders, divide Jerusalem, and allow the Palestinians to have a state with contiguous borders (thus cutting Israel proper in two).

We return to the questions obama's winning the Nobel Peace Prize flushes into the open. I am privileged to have friends and colleagues who think deeply in these matters, especially on their possible prophetic implications. One such confidant has proffered fascinating thoughts on recent developments regarding the Nobel Prize for peace as they relate to eschatology as we near the end of the age. I find his analysis particularly thought-provoking, so, without giving the writer's name, upon his request that I not mention it in his exclusively shared remarks, I'll give a few of these thoughts here.

"The Nobel Peace Prize [to Barrack obama] was awarded purely for political reasons, and perhaps for strategic reasons. Its timing is bizarre. He must have been nominated within 10 days of being sworn in. He had not then, nor has not since, achieved any tangible progress toward peace. He was not rumored to be among the finalists. However, the vote was unanimous. The announcement came weeks before expected.

It has interesting implications regarding several military issues currently facing the US and Israel. Overtly, obama has yet to decide whether to commit further troops to Afghanistan. However, more subtly, obama has to consider military options with respect to Iran. Yesterday's papers reported the possibility that the US was gearing up to take direct military action against Iran. This was based on the accelerated development of the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP, bunker-busting bomb. While this story is probably false, the US may have been planning to assist Israel in striking Iran, either by providing arms, intelligence, over flight permission or logistical support. The Nobel Peace prize renders an affirmative decision to make war or assist Israel in making war significantly more difficult.

Finally, given the terrorist threat under which the US finds itself, and given the serious risk of nuclear attack on US cities and the need to retaliate as a matter of self-defense, the Nobel Peace Prize may result in a conflict of interest wherein obama's tacit peace pledge conflicts with his sworn duty to defend the Constitution and the US. In my opinion, the pressure of being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize is particularly acute in this time period between it having been awarded and his accepting it.

I am convinced that the Antichrist will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize someday. I am not prepared yet to say that it was designed with the Antichrist in mind, but I do think that the committee that now decides the winners is spiritually compelled to award it to Antichrist types and specifically for the benefit of those who advance the New World Order and are enemies of Israel.

In short, the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack obama has been intentionally designed to frustrate any efforts on the part of the US to help Israel defend itself against Iran.

Strange developments are afoot while the world looks for the prince that shall come, and we who name the name of Christ look for the true Prince of peace.

our local Stellar Divinities.

aware that the "Ancient of days"¹ communicates telepathically

I'm not a pro, but yes, a high percentage of stars are binaries.
But that object you see in the sky is only a planet if it doesn't
twinkle. Stars, being so far away and only seen as point sources, are
twinkled by our atmosphere, but planets have enough size that they
don't. Look in star charts---they' re all over the web, and you'll see
exactly what is where you look. Common sense suggests that if a planet
came out of nowhere, the whole world would be talking about it. They
aren't. Finally, since we've only been technological for some few
hundred years, how would anyone even know if we move re a "galactic
plane." As for me, a galactic plane would have absolute zero effect on
us at this distance. For example, if you study the Milky Way, you see
that the large back hole at the center of our galaxy is surrounded by
many stars in that central bulge. Wrapping tightly around that is an
entire, large arm of the galaxy, the Crux Scutum Arm. Then comes
thousands of more light years empty space til you arrive at the
Sagittarius Arm. We're part of a diverging arm of Sagittarius, the Orion
arm of the galaxy. Again, thousands of light years separate us from
Sagittarius. So we're tens of thousands of years from whatever
conditions exist in the galaxy center. Being formed of various arms,
there's nothing that would make much difference even if we passed an
idealized plane. In truth, the galaxy is blotchy and irregularly clumped
along all spiral arms, so a plane would make little difference. We may
well move up and down over time, but I have yet to see any astronomer's
report about adverse conditions that might occur due to being at one
idealized linear referent vs. another. All motion is wave-like and
irrespective of a plane, we move through different dust areas with time.

Don't believe the hype you read by often apocalyptic
semi-religious people or those who simply repeat what some (abducting
alignment) alien may have said. Read astronomers, instead. What evidence
would astronomers even have about our movement, just yet?

It would be only generalized assumption, probably not exact yet,
after so little technological time here.

New Flying Reptile Fossils Found

The Spiritual Hierarchies of the Vega system were then asked if they would permit this species to be vastly altered genetically to accelerate their evolution so that they may become a guardian species. The Vega Spiritual Hierarchies agreed. So, the traces of the first humans came from the Vega Star System. Their technology improved very quickly, and once they had developed star travel technology they started to migrate into nearby star systems for a period of 2.5 million years.

During this time the Galatic Federation was formed, Sirius B was colonized and Earth was selected for seeding. Later Mars and Venus were colonized and the Hybornea colony was founded on Earth. Dinoid/Reptoids in the meantime had built up there forces and were invading the various colonies throughout the solar system. Hyborean Earth, Mars and Venus were victim to these attacks and the Dinoids and Reptoids gained control over the solar system for a period of approximately 80,000 years.

In response to this the Galactic Federation planned a counterattack to reintroduce humans into this system. They arranged for a battle planet (4 times the diameter of the Earth) to come into the solar system and destroy the planet Maldek - which was the Dinoid/Reptoid stronghold. The remains of the planet Maldek are what we can now see as the asteroid belt. After the destruction of Maldek and the defeat of the Dinoid/Reptoids a human colony was again established on Earth. It is what we know today as Lemuria. Over the next 850,000 years the Lemurians spread across the face of the planet. Another analomous discovery is a map by Arabian Admiral Phiri Rhis (proun. Peery Reese) made in 1582. The map clearly shows features of the earth that nobody should have known in the late 1500's. Without an accurate timepiece there was no way to figure longitude on a sailing ship. It wasn't until 1790 that the first accurate marine timepiece was invented.

We did not have that information until the seismic surveys during the 1958 International Geophysical Year. Whoever drew the original source maps had a level of technology as high as our own. The Antarctic ice cap has existed for millions of years.

Obama Is Moving Forcefully to Concentrate All Power in Himself

Chuck Baldwin's excellent essay below gives some more details on recent moves by the Obama forces to seize direct control over U.S. police, quasi-private military forces, and to create new forces under control of the Party.

Bill Marina and I paid a great deal of detailed attention to Bush's explosive use of the Blackwater, etc., private armies in Iraq, Afghanistan and beyond. There are now a few good books on them. In general, these mercenaries – highly paid, mostly former Special Forces from the U.S., Israel, South Africa, etc. – outnumber the regular military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan and beyond. The statement that the U.S. forces in Afghanistan are 65,000 is a preposterous Big Lie to hide the reality and the vast costs. These forces are the ones that use hollow point sniper bullets for long-range murders of civilians, etc. They probably use other war crimes materials like white phosphorus against personnel, depleted uranium shells in Iraq, etc.

There is a long history of their use by the U.S. – going back certainly to the Privateers; but those operated under prize-taking rules that were international and provided incentives to minimize death and destruction, not maximize them. The U.S. Navy started a few decades ago using private, contracted ships working with the Navy ships to carry fuel, food, etc., to keep the official number of ships down, so the public would not know how huge the Navy really was when the contract ships were counted. [I started seeing gray painted ships in the San Diego harbor with colored stripes along their sides and found out from Navy men they were the contract ships. They looked like regular Navy ships except for the colored stripe, which was small and could only be seen up close.]

Bush started using secret Special Ops masquerading as employees of Big Corps., notably Halliburton' s KBR, very early in Afghanistan, as we learned from a very close professional friend and co-worker of a very old friend of mine. He was a great sniper who was called up overnight and sent off to shoot peasants in Afghanistan suspected of being Taliban, etc. [The U.S. mercenaries guard Karzai in depth and are everywhere in Afghanistan and I expect are now used in Pakistan.]

Blackwater tried a few years ago to build a huge international training camp for their mercenaries in San Diego County. That led to a huge outcry and struggle. As far as I know, it remains on ice. The details of that are in The San Diego Union-Tribune archives.

I believe the crucial, secret part of McChrystal's New Plan is to vastly increase the use of drone Hellfires, Special Ops air strikes, and secret sniper murders in Afghanistan and Pakistan against suspected al-Queda and Taliban forces and sympathizers. McChrystal was the head of U.S. Special Ops "black ops" [murder squads of snipers, etc.] when Obama appointed him to be the head of all U.S. forces in Afpak. I believe Obama appointed him for the purpose of increasing the Murder Squad programs and this has led to an explosion of Afpak support for the guerillas and rage against Karzai and the U.S. Pakistan is fiercely resisting this, but that just means the U.S. has to vastly increase the bribes.

I just got an e-mail in response to one of my Afpak essays Lew Rockwell posted in which the writer says he is SF [Special Forces] and has worked in eleven countries propping up dictators for the U.S. [He objects to my calling these "black ops programs" of the Special Ops "Death Squads" – which has never been any official term used by anyone but is the unofficial term used since Vietnam, the CIA's vast Phoenix Program, John Kerry's "fast boats" running agents up the Mekong, etc.] I think most of these former SF mercenaries are totally cynical like mercenaries throughout history. They know it's all Big Lies and BS, but they get paid vast sums to sign up, reenlist, annual salaries, bonuses, expenses....

They are like the Condotierri in the Italian City States, totally mercenary and very dangerous.

The SF guy who wrote me was morally outraged that I oppose the SF executions by snipers. He insists that this is better than bombing the whole house or village but will not consider the possibility it might be best to work morally and legally to root out murderers on all sides. I told him about the U.S. military commander in San Francisco in 1906 who moved his 1,700 troops into the streets after the earthquake to maintain law and order, pushing aside the police trained to do these things. Some of his men wound up executing supposed looters and then doing the looting themselves.

I certainly think Obama's Civilian Defense Force is intended to be an auxiliary Party force, very similar to the Sturmabteilung [the infamous SA] of the Nazi's that grew out of the Freikorps and became the Party's private army, as Trotsky's Red Army was the private army of the Bolsheviki, not of the state. Hitler was himself eventually threatened by the SA and killed off the leaders and folded the troops into the new SS, which became the private army of Hitler, swearing allegiance to him personally in the Nuremberg Sportsplatz ceremonies, rather than being subject to the orders of the German General Staff, the Wehrmacht. The Soviet Party always maintained heavily armed special forces around Moscow responsible to the Party. They also had their own more loyal Spetznetz forces, very much like the US Special Forces, and the Party-controlled Cheka-NKVD-KGB, GRU, and MVD. Putin came from the KGB but controlled all of them in the new regime. [He still does informally.] The US Imperial President controls the 19 [plus secret-secret units] secret police from the FBI and CIA to DEA and BATF, but they do not have heavy weapons. They have more direct control of some of the Special Forces for that but I do not know the details of such secret matters.

The U.S. Constitution provides for the state-controlled reserves, national guards for emergencies, etc. The federal government is moving to take control of the state military forces upon command of the President.

Obama's military and secret police forces are moving very fast and across the entire spectrum of forces to get direct control of all major forces in the U.S. and around the world and to create new ones under direct control from the beginning of the Party. Hitler had to move slowly over several years because the General Staff hated him. The Obama police and military czars are moving extremely fast and across the whole spectrum of forces. They are running great risks of a catastrophic showdown with Iran and Pakistan and other nations to build their military image as Winners. Iran alone can shut down the Persian Gulf oil and cripple the U.S. economy already in Depression II. They have also seized control of all of the top of the vast U.S. financial system, plan to impose the Fed as a totalitarian czar over finance permanently, have seized the biggest insurer – AIG, the biggest manufacturer – GM, and are planning to seize the vast power industry, health care, education, the internet ["in times of emergency declared by Obama"], and no doubt any other great concentrations of power. All U.S. concentrations of power will be under the direct control of Obama through the Party political commissars, popularly known as "Czars" because they have under the Emperor totalitarian powers. Ravenwood may be fictional. These are brutal facts.

I assume Obama and The Party have only the "best of intentions." They apparently want to save us from all the agonies of real freedom and leave us only with the mundane choices among tooth paste brands manufactured by Big Corps. working under the direct Consumer Protection Czar in the White House.

Being an unregenerate, old-fashioned American I fear that all of their best intentions will not save us in the short run from the agonies of Imperial and bureaucratic tyranny and that in the long run they will discover as the Soviets did that central-planning does not work. Their goal, like that of Lenin, is Utopia Today, but I fear they will produce very soon the awful reality of Systemic Implosion and an American Armageddon. The Soviets had the U.S. and the Europeans to hold them up while they divested themselves of the most awful concentrations of central planning power, but the U.S. is too big to be held up. We will implode.

British Nationality Act of 1948 (Part II, Section 5): Subject to the provisions of this section, a person born after the commencement of this Act shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by descent if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies at the time of the birth.

The Rocky Mountain News did in fact run an online article asserting that Barack Obama holds both American and Kenyan citizenship. The article was incorrect, and the paper removed the item from the article and ran a correction. The paper's editor, John Temple, formally apologized for the error in an Aug. 15, 2007, column. Neither the correction nor the apology has prevented the column from circulating across the Internet as part of the latest set of baseless rumors that Obama is ineligible to run for president.

There was a grain of truth to what the Rocky Mountain News reported, though understanding why requires a brief history lesson.

When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom's dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.'s children:

British Nationality Act of 1948 (Part II, Section 5): Subject to the provisions of this section, a person born after the commencement of this Act shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by descent if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies at the time of the birth.

In other words, at the time of his birth, Barack Obama Jr. was both a U.S. citizen (by virtue of being born in Hawaii) and a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies (or the UKC) by virtue of being born to a father who was a citizen of the UKC.

Obama's British citizenship was short-lived. On Dec. 12, 1963, Kenya formally gained its independence from the United Kingdom. Chapter VI, Section 87 of the Kenyan Constitution specifies that:

1. Every person who, having been born in Kenya, is on 11th December, 1963 a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies or a British protected person shall become a citizen of Kenya on 12th December, 1963...

2. Every person who, having been born outside Kenya, is on 11th December, 1963 a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies or a British protected person shall, if his father becomes, or would but for his death have become, a citizen of Kenya by virtue of subsection (1), become a citizen of Kenya on 12th December, 1963.

As a citizen of the UKC who was born in Kenya, Obama's father automatically received Kenyan citizenship via subsection (1). So given that Obama qualified for citizen of the UKC status at birth and given that Obama's father became a Kenyan citizen via subsection (1), it follows that Obama did in fact have Kenyan citizenship after 1963. So The Rocky Mountain News was at least partially correct.

But the paper failed to note that the Kenyan Constitution prohibits dual citizenship for adults. Kenya recognizes dual citizenship for children, but Kenya's Constitution specifies that at age 23, Kenyan citizens who possesses citizenship in more than one country automatically lose their Kenyan citizenship unless they formally renounce any non-Kenyan citizenship and swear an oath of allegiance to Kenya.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1984.

Corrected (Sep. 3, 2009): Our original article incorrectly stated that then-Sen. Obama lost his Kenyan citizenship on Aug. 4, 1982. The correct date is Aug. 4, 1984. The Kenyan Constitution required Obama to choose whether to keep either his U.S. or Kenyan citizenship upon his 21st birthday, which was in 1982. But we initially missed that the Constitution provided him a two-year window for making that choice. So Obama did not lose his Kenyan citizenship until his 23rd birthday in 1984. We have updated the item to reflect this.

Dubbed “The Martial Artist of Trend Forecasting,” Celente is world-renowned for his authoritative forecasts on events in financial markets and socio-political movements... 2012 Forecast: Food Riots, Ghost Malls, Mob Rule, Terror

A trends forecaster says the current economic "rebound" from last winter's Wall Street collapse of banks, insurance companies and automobile manufacturers is an artificial blip created by 'phantom money printed out of thin air backed by nothing." And Gerald Celente of TrendsResearch.com, says people right now should be bracing for "the greatest recession" which will hit worldwide and will mark the "decline of empire America." Crop failures could be among the minor concerns. "Here we are in 2012. Food riots, tax protests, farmer rebellions, student revolts, squatter diggins, homeless uprisings, tent cities, ghost malls, general strikes, bossnappings, kidnappings, industrial saboteurs, gang warfare, mob rule, terror," he writes for a quarterly publication that is available through subscription on his website. The recent surge in Wall Street indexes back to near the 10,000 level, still far below the 14,000 prior to the crash, should be no reassurance for anyone, he said.

When our leaders have no awareness of the disastrous consequences of their actions, they can claim ignorance and take no action.

Or when our leaders have no hard evidence as to what might happen in the future, they can at least claim uncertainty.

But when they have full knowledge of an impending disaster … they have proof of its inevitability in ANY scenario … and they so declare in their official reports … but STILL don’t lift a finger to change course … then they have only one remaining claim:

INSANITY!

And, unfortunately, that’s precisely the situation we’re in today: Three recently released government reports now point to fiscal doomsday for America; and one of the reports, issued by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), says so explicitly:

The CBO paints two future scenarios for the U.S. budget deficit and the national debt. But it plainly declares that fiscal disaster will strike in EITHER scenario. Furthermore …
The CBO states that its fiscal disaster scenarios could cause severe economic declines for decades to come, including hyperinflation and destruction of retirement savings.
The CBO then proceeds to admit that even its worse-case scenario could be understated by a wide margin due to panic in the financial markets or vicious cycles that are beyond control.
Separately, in its Flow of Funds Report for the second quarter, the Federal Reserve provides irrefutable data that we are already beginning to witness the first of these consequences in the United States: an unprecedented cut-off of credit to businesses and consumers.
Meanwhile, the Treasury Department shows that America’s fate remains, as before, in the hands of foreigners, with the U.S. still owing them $7.9 trillion!
And despite all this, neither Congress nor the Obama Administration have proposed a plan or a timetable for averting these doomsday scenarios. Their sole solution is to issue more bonds, borrow more, and print more without restraint.

That is the epitome of insanity.

Yes, the great government bailouts of 2008 and 2009 have bought us some time … but they have promptly proceeded to sell us into bondage.

Yes, they have given us safe passage over tough seas … but only to throw our assets onto the global auction block for the highest bidders.

The one bright spot: Unlike some governments, ours does not conceal the evidence of its folly. Quite the contrary, the proof pours forth from these three government reports in relatively blunt language and unmistakably blatant numbers …

Congressional Budget Office (CBO):
The Long-Term Budget Outlook

The CBO opens with a chart predicting the most dramatic surge in government debt of all time.

It shows that even in proportion to the larger size of the U.S. economy today, the government debt has ALREADY surpassed the massive debt loads accumulated during World War I and the Great Depression … and will soon surpass even the massive debt load of World War II.

“Large budget deficits,” write the authors of the CBO report, would …

“Reduce national saving,” leading to …
“More borrowing from abroad” and …
“Less domestic investment,” which in turn would …
“Depress income growth in the United States,” and …
“Seriously harm the economy.”

Worse, on page 14, the CBO warns that:

“Lenders may become concerned about the financial solvency of the government and …
“Demand higher interest rates to compensate for the increasing riskiness of holding government debt.” Plus …
“Both foreign and domestic lenders may not provide enough funds for the government to meet its obligations.”

The magnitude of the problem cannot be underestimated. The CBO declares on page 15 that:

“The systematic widening of budget shortfalls projected under CBO’s long-term scenarios has never been observed in U.S. history” and …
It will also be larger than the debt accumulations of any other industrialized nation in the post-World War II period, including Belgium and Italy, the two worst cases of all.

But the CBO admits that even these frightening projections may be grossly understated because:

“The analysis omitted the pressures that a rising ratio of debt to GDP would have on real interest rates and economic growth.”
“The growth of debt would lead to a vicious cycle in which the government had to issue ever-larger amounts of debt in order to pay ever-higher interest charges.”
“More government borrowing would drain the nation’s pool of savings, reducing investment” and …
“Capital would probably flee the United States, further reducing investment.”

But none of these are factored into the analysis. On page 17 of its report, the CBO writes …

“The analysis … does not incorporate the financial markets’ reactions to a fiscal crisis and the actions that the government would adopt to resolve such a crisis. Because [our] textbook growth model is not forward-looking, the analysis assumes that people will not anticipate the sustainability issues facing the federal budget; as a result, the model predicts only a gradual change in the economy as federal debt rises.

“In actuality, the economic effects of rapidly growing debt would probably be much more disorderly as investors’ confidence in the nation’s fiscal solvency began to erode. If foreign investors anticipated an economic crisis, they might significantly reduce their purchases of U.S. securities, causing the exchange value of the dollar to plunge, interest rates to climb, and consumer prices to shoot up.(Bolding is mine.)

U.S. Federal Reserve:
Flow of Funds Accounts
of the United States

The Fed’s data on page 12 tells it all: The impact on the U.S. credit markets is not just a future scenario. It’s happening right now.

Yes, the government is getting its money to finance its exploding deficits (for now). But it’s hogging all the available supplies, while American businesses and average consumers are getting shut out or even shoved out.

Specifically …

In the first half of last year, the U.S. Treasury raised funds at the annual pace of $411 billion in the first quarter and $310 billion in the second quarter.
But if you think that was a lot, consider this: THIS year, the Treasury has stepped up its pace of borrowing to annual rates of $1.443 TRILLION in the first quarter and $1.896 TRILLION in the second quarter. That’s 3.5 times and over SIX TIMES MORE than last year’s, respectively.

Meanwhile, the private sector is getting killed …

Last year, banks provided new credit at the annual pace of $472.4 billion in the first quarter and $86.7 billion in the second. This year, they’re not providing ANY new credit — they’re actually LIQUIDATING loans at the rate of $857.2 billion in the first quarter and $931.3 billion in the second. So if you’re running a business, you may want to think twice before asking your bank for more money. Instead, they may decide to TAKE BACK the money they’ve already loaned you!
Ditto for mortgages. Last year, mortgages were being created at the annual clip of $522.5 billion and $124 billion in the first and second quarters, respectively. This year, on a net basis, mortgages haven’t been created at all. Quite the contrary, the Fed reports that, on a net basis, they’ve been liquidated at an annual pace of $39.3 billion in the first quarter and $239.5 billion in the second.
Getting cash out of credit cards and other consumer credit is even tougher. Last year, folks were able to add to their consumer credit at annual rates of $115 billion and $105 billion in the first two quarters. This year, in contrast, they’ve been forced to CUT back on their credit at annual rates of $95.3 billion in the first quarter … and at an even faster pace in the second quarter — $166.8 billion.

Never before in my lifetime have I witnessed a more severe case of crowding out in the credit markets!

And never before has the CBO been so right in its forecasts of fiscal doomsday: One of its dire forecasts was already coming true even before it issued its report.

Each and every month, the Treasury reminds us of the single fact that no one in the Treasury wants to face:

The U.S. is deep in debt to the rest of the world, and on page 48, it provides the evidence: total liabilities to foreigners of $7,898,435 million (nearly $7.9 trillion)!

This isn’t a new record. It was actually slightly more last year. But the fact is NOTHING has been done to reduce our debt to foreigners. Quite the contrary, it is the deliberate policy of our government to pile up more — to sell foreign investors and central banks on the idea that they must continue to lend us money.

The fact that this could potentially put our nation into deeper jeopardy is overlooked. And the dire forecast by the CBO that foreign investors might pull the plug is pooh-poohed.

Stay alert to our emails for specific instructions on how to harness these potentially overwhelming forces and harvest them for profits.

Hyperinflation? Meltdown? Devaluation? New World Order? Not trading oil in dollars? China not buying US Dollars anymore? What do these things all have to do with you? Well, if you use the US dollar to purchase the things that you need to live, then it has a lot to do with you. But if you don't use the dollar, then this video is not for you, unless of course you are interested in making some money betting against the dollar.

But if you are like me and most Americans, then this topic has everything to do with you. So the question is what do you do to protect yourself from the falling dollar? The short answer I guess would be to divest yourself of it. But if you are like me and you basically deal in it on a daily basis, and you never seem to get an excess of it, then there is little that you can do to protect yourself; you are at the mercy of our politicians; you are in their hands.

Now that I've got you bumed out, I will tell you what you can do, even if you are relatively "poor" like me. You can slowly, but not too slowly, buy extra food every week. Stop buying those extra things that you really don't need, and instead, buy something like a gun, or some survival equipment. Basically by tangible things that people always need, things that we cannot live without. Just do whatever you can, because if, when, the time comes that the dollar totally collapses, you will not regret that you acted, that you responded to this "hype".

When money is worthless

Given the excess of global liquidity, this is not entirely surprising. It does, however, raise an ominous possibility of a supply shortage in one or more commodities, caused by investor demand that exceeds available mine output and inventory. That could potentially produce a collapse in economic activity similar to that from the 1837-41 and 1929-33 liquidity busts, but with the opposite cause. The problem arises because of the size of the world's capital pools in relation to its volume of trade. This week's column is going to be a little different, as I'd like to discuss human nature and the paper we call money from a slightly different perspective.

I was recently thinking about what has transpired in this country in the past decade: first the equity bubble, then the real estate/credit bubble and the steady debasement of the dollar (where a trickle of trouble threatens to turn into a flood).

I have been struck by how few people seem to understand how all these events are related -- in that, at the root, they each have the irresponsible printing of money as the cause. (The sociological and psychological phenomena that go with that -- e.g., the regulators not doing their job -- are just part of the process.)

Each problem led to the next, and one year ago the financial system was bailed out at the risk of the country ultimately enduring a funding crisis.

One fact that strikes me is how few people seem to have been able to protect themselves from the first two (even though they were so obvious) and how so few will be able to save themselves from this third, huge problem.

In my own little world, I wrote until I was blue in the face about the risks inherent to each of those bubbles -- and others did, too -- but still only a small subset of folks avoided calamity.

Similarly, I have droned on forever about the weakness in the dollar and the necessity for folks to protect themselves via precious metals or some other idea. (I don't know what that idea is, or I would say, but there will turn out to have been other options.)

The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately. A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."

This exchange was recorded by Constitution signer James McHenry in a diary entry that was later reproduced in the 1906 American Historical Review. Yet in more recent years, Franklin has occassionally been misquoted as having said, "A democracy, if you can keep it." The NRA's Charleton Heston quoted Franklin this way, for example, in a CBS 60 Minutes interview with Mike Wallace that was aired on December 20, 1998.

This misquote is a serious one, since the difference between a democracy and a republic is not merely a question of semantics but is fundamental. The word "republic" comes from the Latin res publica — which means simply "the public thing(s)," or more simply "the law(s)." "Democracy," on the other hand, is derived from the Greek words demos and kratein, which translates to "the people to rule." Democracy, therefore, has always been synonymous with majority rule.

NORAD Exercise Planned For East Coast, New England

The Continental United States NORAD Region, a geographical component of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, will conduct a three-day homeland defense exercise, Falcon Dart, beginning Oct. 14 along the eastern seaboard and in New England. This exercise is designed to train CONRs intercept and identification operations and will involve fighters out of Barnes Air National Guard Base, Mass., Jacksonville ANG, Fla., Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., and aircraft from other federal agencies. Residents may hear aircraft noise and see aircraft flying at various times throughout the day. Air Force B-52 Stratofortresses will simulate tracks of interest during the first day of the exercise. The Eastern Air Defense Sector, based in Rome, N.Y., will direct Air Force F-15 Eagles to intercept the B-52s along the eastern seaboard. F-15s from the Florida Air National Guards 125th Fighter Wing based in Jacksonville and the Massachusetts Air National Guards 104th FW based at Barnes ANGB will be launched to intercept the B-52s.

Holdren Envisions U.S. Subject To 'Planetary Regime'

White House science czar John Holdren has called for the United States to surrender sovereignty to a "Planetary Regime" armed with sufficient military power to enforce population limits on nations as a means of preventing a wide range of perceived dangers from global eco-disasters involving Earth's natural resources, climate, atmosphere and oceans. As previously reported, WND has obtained and reviewed a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Holdren co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Anne. The authors argued that involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change." On page 943, the authors recommended the creation of a "Planetary Regime" created to act as an "international superagency for population, resources, and environment." The authors argued, "Such a Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation, and distribution of all natural resources, renewable or nonrenewable, at least insofar as international implications exist." (Emphasis in original text.)

If the First Amendment fails, use the Second one.
