In a move that would have seemed both unconscionable and unbelievable less than a year ago, the Obama Administration has announced that it will effectively decide the monetary executive compensation for ALL banks and Wall Street firms and is looking toward regulating it in other industries, also. In other words, after a highly successful campaign of switching the blame for the current global financial crisis to others, Obama's government (which no longer belongs to We-the-People) will effectively take over banks and Wall Street — whether they have taken "bail-out" funds or not. Obama's government has also indicated it is interested in insurance companies. The announcement of other firms to be taken over by Obama and his Democrat-run Congress will apparently come very soon. Will your industry and/or company be next? Note: The liberal Republican elite are not much — if any — better. But, this fiasco — that has been successfully if not truthfully been transferred to AIG — was started, is being continued and even encouraged by Democrats. By its very nature, absolute power knows no limits.

I really loved his music and if no one else noticed the protests across this country this weekend, I did and followed the news the MSM refused to.
This was an interesting guy who said he wrote this little jig last night. The sound system seemed to get the job done ;-) and it was nice of him to get out in front of folks with some artistic flair and be inspirational. This man explained he would be on Glenn Beck's show with this song, so everyone should tune in to see him.
By the Way, I would like to personally thank not only those people that were here today, but all the Americans all over the country who are doing this. For those people who think this is dumb, or a waste of time- exactly what are you doing about this? If you pay taxes, you should be outraged at this mess- and throw away the politics for now... It started with Bush- it's continuing under Amabo. It's time to hold the whole government responsible- not just one party or the other. And it's better to join with your community and speak out than to sit and criticize others for doing what you aren't willing to.

In 1991 we bought a beautiful home in North San Diego County. A 5 bedroom 3 bath house. It was a dream come true. My career has been in the music business, syndicated radio and putting business teams together. In 1991 we watched the L.A. Riots in California, the floods from rain, the fires. One challenges after another.
Being a researcher at heart, I started looking at what was really going on in the USA. In April of 2006 we sold our home realizing there would be a financial collapse of the real estate. Why? Because all of rules of getting a real estate loan in America for the past 50 years were now being violated.
Selling our home in April of 2006 in San Diego, with our escrow closing in early July, our home was the last home to sell in our old neighborhood. Now living in New Zealand we recently heard and expert say that NZ Unemployment could reach 11.2 per cent within the next 2 years.
What about California? It is now at 12% inflation. The state has an economy twice as big as India's and you can anticipate that unemployment will be at 15% to 20% before the end of the year.

That includes American citizens." And according to an FBI memo, peace protesters are being labeled as "terrorists". Indeed, police have been terrorizing children, little old ladies and other "dangerous" people who attempted to peacefully. And a 2003 FBI memo describes protesters' use of videotaping as an "intimidation" technique, even though - as the ACLU points out - "Most mainstream demonstrators often use videotape during protests to document law enforcement activity and, more importantly, deter police from acting outside the law." The FBI appears to be objecting to the use of cameras to document unlawful behavior by law enforcement itself.
Beck and Paul point out that these groups are harmless and the real danger are home-grown terrorists.

Governor Jay Nixon and the Missouri Highway Patrol are in hot water with many citizens after a report connecting former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr and vice-presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin to terrorism and subversive activities was leaked earlier this month, says Catherine Bliesh, executive director of the Liberty Restoration Project.
Bliesh's organization filed FOIA requests with the Missouri Highway Patrol, State Emergency Management Agency and Governor Jay Nixon's office that seek disclosure on exactly how the state police arrived at the decision to brand third party or even some mainstream party candidates like Ron Paul as subversive.
Daniel Gerke, Clinton organizer for Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty, said whenever you are profiled and connected to cop killings and extremist groups it is personally upsetting.
“But I haven't removed my Campaign for Liberty bumper sticker. It bothers me that they are targeting political activists,” Gerke said.
It is naive to think that things like this, which harken back to the infiltrations of protest groups in the 60s, aren't going on, he said. “But it is disturbing when you actually see it.”

As you’re all aware, the FBI has undergone a sea change in the way we collect and use intelligence. In the past, collecting evidence was the goal. Now, evidence collection is really incidental to intelligence collection and dissemination.
Don’t get me wrong—we’re still going to collect evidence, but we’re constantly weighing the benefits of gathering and disseminating intelligence versus the value of prosecution. At the end of the day, our goal is to completely dismantle terrorist and criminal networks. To do this, we need to ensure that those who do us harm can be put into jail, and to do that you need to complete the evidentiary chain.
At the same time, however, you need to build a complete intelligence picture to ensure that you’ve got the entire networks. The reality is, if you just get one or two terrorists and the rest of the network is still out there, you really haven’t solved the problem and it’s going to come back and bite you.
Terrorism is still our priority, that’s clear. But we also recognize that for you and for us this is about all crimes and all hazards, and we see the fusion centers in that broader role.
It’s not just lip service—it’s because the fusion centers work, and we know that. We’ve got to learn to be less bureaucratic and flexible and fusion centers come into that—they’re a great tool. No police officer … no agent, no country, can prevent crime or terrorism alone. We all have to rely on each other to build those partnerships. We are committed to doing that, committed to working with fusion centers.

The Senate on Thursday passed a long-delayed bill to set aside more than 2 million acres in nine states as protected wilderness, from a California mountain range to more than 1,000 miles of rivers. The 77-20 vote sends the bill to the House, where final legislative approval could come as early as next week. The Senate first approved the measure in January, but it was defeated last week in the House amid a partisan dispute over a plan to allow concealed, loaded guns in national parks. The legislation — a package of nearly 170 separate bills — would confer the government's highest level of protection on land ranging from California's Sierra Nevada mountain range and Oregon's Mount Hood to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and parts of the Jefferson National Forest in Virginia. Land in Idaho's Owyhee canyons, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan and Zion National Park in Utah also would win designation as wilderness, and more than 1,000 miles of rivers in nearly a dozen states would gain protections.

The sub sighting occurred kilometres away from the location of a mysterious explosion that had been reported to authorities 10 days earlier and made news across Canada.
Today, the military refuses to discuss what it found last summer after probing the sub incident, citing operational security. Its silence on the possible underwater incursion - of a sort Canada is relatively powerless to detect or stop - stands in stark contrast to the clamour Ottawa makes when NORAD detects and intercepts approaching Russian bombers.
The sub sighting is a reminder of Canada's difficulty with enforcing its sovereignty in the increasingly contested Arctic. The incident occurred even as officials in Ottawa were planning a trip for Prime Minister Stephen Harper to the region. It was only three weeks later that he tried to reassert Canada's claims over the Passage and Arctic, announcing Ottawa would now require foreign vessels entering Canadian waters to report their presence.
Documents obtained by The Globe and Mail under access to information law say it was hunters - rather than Canadian authorities - who spotted the sub and relayed it to the Canadian Rangers, lightly armed reservists paid to keep a lookout for foreign intrusions.
The vessel was spotted at the northern end of Baffin Island near a hunting camp early on Aug. 9, and the hunters were adamant about what they saw, the military was told. "[They] reported it was very close and [there] does not appear to be any thoughts on the part of the person reporting that it was not a sub," one soldier's e-mail said later that day.
The sighting took place only days after the explosion was witnessed in the same area - an incident that was reported across the country after Parks Canada staff talked to journalists. The report of this July 31 detonation in the waters off Borden Peninsula came from a location only 10 to 15 kilometres away from the later submarine incident, one military e-mail said.
A husband and wife team of hunters who witnessed the July 31 explosion said their "whole cabin shook" from the blast and thick black smoke - "the type ... seen at a garbage dump" - rose from the water.
But as the Canadian Forces fielded questions on the explosion, the military was careful to try to keep the later sub sighting under wraps, documents show. It rewrote planned responses to journalists about the explosion to remove references to the submarine - "we are separating the two incidents" - and instructed staff to be in "reactive ... posture" on the vessel sighting, meaning they only were to broach the issue if asked directly about it.
Yesterday, naval Lieutenant Jordan Holder, a spokesman for Joint Task Force North, said he could not divulge what soldiers found during their probe of the sub sighting. "I am not at liberty to discuss the investigation or results." However, he said no link was found between the submarine sighting and the earlier explosion.
Rob Huebert, associate director of the University of Calgary's Centre for Military and Strategic Studies, said it's possible U.S., British, Russian or even French subs could have been operating in the area.
"Nobody wants to face up to the fact that in the Arctic we're starting to see everybody resuming naval operations again," he said.
Last summer, Russia announced plans to increase the "operational radius" of its northern sub fleet.
