It is time to take a look at the car of the future. Robot Car Drives Without Driver

The car named Junior is made of Silicon Valley Technology and while you can look at it, you can't drive it.

This car of the future may not look like all that much but it's drawing big crowds who want to see how the next generation will roll.

Spectators are amazed to see this car drive without a driver.

Sure, it's polite enough to signal before turning, but there's no one in the front seat.

Silicon Valley Technology propels it, from chips to software.

Junior has flashing light and a spinning contraption on the roof.

It's the latest version of the driverless car that won the two million dollar Defense Agency Challenge first prize two years ago.

This year, the agency is challenging techies to come up with a pilot less car to navigate safely through city streets.

They call it the Urban Challenge and so far, Junior is passing its tests with flying colors.

"It can think really great, faster than a human can. And it understands all the physics of the vehicle, it doesn't get tired or distracted, doesn't abuse substances behind the wheel," says Stanford Universities David Stavens.

There may be nobody up front, but with technology in the back it looks like Junior has a bright road ahead.

The upcoming Urban Challenge will take place in November this year.
