THE SERPENT is our connection to Sexuality and Knowledge

Helps us to see the world exactly as it is

Helps us to shed our skins completely and cleanly

the Serpent archetype is our connection to Mother Earth, Pachamama and the energy of serpent, kundalini is connected to our blood red root / base chakra

SERPENT – the binding principal

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The binding principal, the stories we have been taught to live by and are bound to the lives we live. Through these beliefs we are bound up tight, Serpent unbinds us from these stories allowing us to shed them as she sheds her skin, cleanly and all in one piece.

The language of serpent is at the level of the physical and the body… everything is as it is – no wrapping stories round it, no judgment, and no criticisms just the bare facts. Serpent sees things precisely as they are with no embellishment. We translate this in terms of scientific, chemical and biological terms – we talk of body parts, molecules, and chemistry.

From Serpent we learn to see things without judgment, no labels, no stories, just bare facts.

Learning to know how Serpents works with you:

  • Serpent accepts everything at face value, it doesn’t build stories around things – just sees the bare facts – not how you feel about the facts.
  • Practice non-attachment by letting things be just as they are, rather than how they ‘should be’. If there is a ‘should’ thought in you there is attachment! Practice beginners mind – everything is new.
  • Practice non suffering… there is always going to be pain – dwelling on how you feel that pain and how it affects… that is suffering, it is what you wrap around your pain, the stories you give it.
  • Practice walking the beauty way – touch everyone with beauty (when you do this everything that is NOT beauty seems to rise up before you, until you learn that EVERYTHING is beautiful!)
  • Practice non-judgment – of self of others. Learn to BE with acceptance. (That’s just how it is, how they are, how I am at this moment in time).
  • Morning breath work at meeting with the archetypes feeds these within you and helps them grow.
  • Grow your relationship to Serpent and indeed all the archetypes with Fire Ceremony. The fire ceremonies for getting to know your archetypes are personal so you do them alone. Fire ceremonies are done at new moon and full moon. Once you have created a relationship with each archetype with you first personal fire for each you can then do it with others to great effect

Snake With Clawed Foot Found In China

The horror...the horror.

Just because most mutants don't gain special powers doesn't make them any less interesting. Case and point, this snake discovered the other day in Southwest China. Looking at the picture, you should be able to figure out what makes this snake different from most. Namely, the weird clawed limb sticking out of its side.

At UN Climate Change Conference, US And China Promise Carbon Emission Reductions

Today, heads of state from around the globe met at the United Nations to face a problem that affects all of their constituencies: climate change. In a day-long conference on global warming, President Obama lamented that the United States was slow to recognize and respond to the problem of global warming, and vowed to move swiftly to counter it. President Hu Jintao of China echoed those statements, listing a four-point plan to combat carbon emissions.

The 88-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II — who has official residences in London, Windsor and Scotland as well as a vast portfolio of property — lamented the demise of the quintessential English village. “Villages used to have to be more or less self sufficient: they had a butcher, a baker, a shoemaker,” he said. “Now that has all gone because of the way retailing is concentrated in big centres and multi-stores.” He complained that the huge increase in holiday home ownership, fuelled by a decade-long property and economic boom, at least until last year’s global financial crisis, had changed the make-up of communities around the country. Wading into the highly contentious issue of climate change, he stressed the impact of population increase on the production of greenhouse gases. “People go on about this carbon footprint, but they fail to realise that the amount of carbon going into the atmosphere is entirely dependent on the number of people living on the earth,” he said...

Krazy Rulers of the NWO - The Rat Masters who Stare at Goats

The Crazy Rulers of the World is the extraordinary, never before told story of what happened when chiefs of US intelligence, the army, and the government began believing in very strange things.

Three years in the making, Jon Ronson's Crazy Rulers of the World explores the apparent madness at the heart of US military intelligence.

With first-hand access to the leading players in the story, More..Jon Ronson examines the extraordinary - and plain bizarre - national secrets at the core of George W bush's war on terror.

Psy Ops The three-part series begins with The Men Who Stare at Goats, which charts the history of a secret US Army unit founded in 1979 - the First Earth Battalion.

The programme uncovers the startling truth about this unit's involvement with paranormal activities that defy all known accepted military practice, including mind reading, out of body experiences and 'thought-death' experiments carried out on goats at Fort Bragg.

In programme two, Jon Ronson reveals how the New Age movement of the 1980s has influenced interrogation at Guantanamo Bay and in post-war Iraq.

THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

Photobucket
There's nothing wrong with a movie being light. The Men Who Stare At Goats is light. Very light. Light as in you walk out of the theater, turn to your friend and say 'Let's get something to eat' and then never think about the movie again. It's not that the film isn't enjoyable; during its very brief runtime you will enjoy The Men Who Stare At Goats. You'll laugh at George Clooney and you'll appreciate director Grant Heslov's deadpan tone. But when you walk out of the theater the film will simply slide off of you. I actually had to take a minute to simply remember it as one of the films I've seen in the past week at Fantastic Fest.

The film is based on a book by Jon Ronson; the British journalist investigated some of the weirdest - and possibly most important - moments in recent US Army history, all centered around the New Earth Army, a hippie dippie psychic spy division. The First Earth Battalion pioneered non-lethal tactics that are in use today, invented the 'Be All You Can Be' Army catchphrase and started going down a weird path of psy-ops that finally ended up being used in the sands of Iraq, being used to torture prisoners.

Ronson's book begins very light, with an almost mocking tone about the First Earth Battalion. But as the journalist uncovered more information, the book takes a darker turn. Finally he ends up in Iraq, where he witnesses New Earth techniques being used against detainees in dark ways that were never intended - men locked in shipping containers being subjected to strobe lights and repeats of Barney the Purple Dinosaur songs 24 hours a day. When he returned home he wrote about what he saw; it caused a minor scandal but the torture, which seemed mild to outside observers, was treated as a joke by the media.

Reading the book when the movie was announced I assumed this was what had interested Clooney and Heslov. Ronson's book got fairly dark in the end, and it plays out almost like a tragedy, as the good intentions of these soldiers - who called themselves Jedi Warriors - was twisted for more evil purposes. That's a dramatically satisfying story, and it's one that peeks under the antiseptic corners of modern warfare, where we kill our enemies at a distance and where our fallen soldiers were, for a long time, undocumented on their return trips home.

But Peter Straughan, the screenwriter, mostly sidesteps those issues. They appear at the end, but without much weight. In fact, once the movie gets to the stuff that was darkest in the book it turns into a slobs vs snobs comedy with a denouement that seems straight out of a hippie version of Meatballs (Soyballs)? The film makes a mention of how the media trivialized the torture Ronson uncovered (or I should say the character standing in for Ronson, Ewan McGregor's Bob Wilton), but it feels guilty of doing the same, just not to the same degree the folks on The Today Show did. And it's this stuff that would have lent the film the heft it needed to stick with you as you walked out of the theater. It would have connected in a deeper, bigger way instead of being a pleasant diversion.

Again, there's nothing wrong with a pleasant diversion! I have no doubt that the folks behind the film are capable of much more than that should they set their minds to it. This isn't Heslov's (Clooney's longtime producing partner and the writer of Good Night, and Good Luck) feature debut, but it's been so long since his first movie you'd be forgiven for thinking so. Heslov manages the incredibly tricky job of keeping his tone from getting too silly, something that can be tough when talking about some of the more outre First Earth Battalion (renamed New Earth Army for the movie) projects and ideas. And in the end while he and Straugharn are obviously at the very least skeptical of the psychic spying work the group did, they respect the strangeness and uniqueness of the group's vision and concepts for a changed Army that rejects wholesale violence and imperialism.

It should almost go without saying that Clooney is great. He plays an amalgam of real people from the book in a completely fictional framing sequence, and he brings a delightfully unhinged feeling to the part. The magic of the casting, though, is that he also brings his Clooney-ism; while a lot of what the character is claiming - he can dissipate clouds with his minds, he once stopped the heart of a goat by staring at it - is looney in the extreme, Clooney has a natural charisma and authority that makes you buy it. That's vital for the relationship between himself and McGregor (a Scotsman playing an American based on an English character. McGregor's American accent isn't horrible, but maybe they should have just made him British), playing a small-town newspaperman who stumbles into the history of the First Earth Army as he tries to be a war correspondent in Iraq. McGregor needs to be incredulous of the claims but also taken enough to stick with Clooney's character and to continue digging into the history of the group.

The only man on Earth capable of out-cooling George Clooney was cast as the man behind the First Earth Army; Jeff Bridges plays the lightly fictionalized character of Bill Django, an Army man turned Army shaman turned broken down old drunk. The other actors look faintly ridiculous in 'young man' make up for flashbacks to the 1980s heyday of the New Earth Army, but Bridges is perfect as a younger man and as an older man. It's actually amazing how well and simply he creates the difference between different phases of Django's life; in the modern scenes Bridges appears to be genuinely bloated and unwell, while in the flashbacks he has the energy and confidence of a man half his age. I'm sure make-up played a big part in both eras, but much of the credit must go to Bridges' remarkable physical acting.

Kevin Spacey is the bad guy of the piece, a psychic spy who goes to the Dark Side. He's appropriately slimy, and he doesn't have much aging done on him beyond a hairpiece, making him seem like an evil ageless being. Spacey's actually a lot of fun; the actor has had a rough patch for the last decade or so, but when he's not making sappy pieces of failed Oscar bait he's a terrific comic actor, and he's mostly great in this film.

I really enjoyed watching The Men Who Stare At Goats. I laughed often. I had a good time in the movie theater, and I imagine that if I hadn't read Ronson's excellent book I would have learned a thing or two about a very strange period in the history of the US military (the film, while changing names and other details, maintains striking fidelity to the basic facts of history). But the film makes no impression and leaves no lasting mark. In the end it's a missed opportunity; even if Heslov hadn't wanted to get as dark as the book, had wanted to maintain his light, quirkily deadpan tone, he could have managed to find a way to give the film more heft and meaning.

The FCC had all records on criminals like Paulson, Geithner, Ruben, Summers & others engaging in that illegal activity. But all the records of those illegal trades were destroyed when WTC 7 was brought down by thermite on 9/11!

911 was a public snuff film used to shock the public and enact the end of the Bill of Rights & invasion of oil bearing countries, & make money for private companies like Halliburton, (stock from 10 to 50 a share)!

By destroying the WTC, they were able to cover up theft of gold bullion & destroy illegal financial transaction records performed just prior to the attacks

Silverstein spends 140 million to make 7 billion almost over night; Silverstein said it was demolished by explosives, (pull it)

It reminds me of CIA man Byrd, the owner of TX School Book Depository, who turned a 2.5 million insider purchase into 26 million dollars thanks to JFK assassination!

Napolitano Reports to CFR on Stasi Snoop Network

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano traveled to New York to deliver a speech to the boss today. She told the Council on Foreign Relations there will be no departure from the Bush administration in regard to homeland security. It will be the same agenda with a few minor changes — for instance, the color-coded threat advisory will be chucked.

“Napolitano sang the praises of counter-terrorism intelligence being shared between federal, state and local agencies through arrangements known as fusion centers,” writes Frank James for NPR. Napolitano said she plans “to make them a top priority for this department to support them, build them, improve them and work with them.”

Translation: the feds will continue the full-steam ahead effort to federalize state and local law enforcement, an effort that began in earnest under Bill Clinton and picked up critical momentum during the reign of George W. Bush.

"HOAX" USED AS NEWS CENSOR - MIND CONTROL

“Napolitano sounded just like her predecessors Ridge and Michael Chertoff,” James continues. “And she talked about educating the populace about how to be the eyes and ears of counter-terrorism and also how to respond to the aftermath of man-made or natural disasters,” or for that matter government contrived false flag operations.

Napolitano told the internationalist cabal in New York that the American people suffer from “complacency” and this is a “threat in the United States.” In order to combat complacency, the government has to do more to “educate” the public on the threat posed by terrorists and other miscreants. In other words, Napolitano admitted the incessant warnings of impending doom — from dirty bombs in major cities to bad guys taking out nuclear plants — have not worked.

Napolitano said the public has to be recruited, sort of like the public was recruited in East Germany by the Stasi. “For too long we’ve treated the public as a liability to be protected rather than an asset in our nation’s collective security,” she declared. Napolitano said the country’s “counter-terrorism efforts” should include the public, that “you are the ones who know if something is not right in your communities, such as a suspicious package, or unusual activities.”

Of course, “unusual activities” are in the eye of the beholder, especially a beholder that has endured nearly a decade of incessant propaganda about terrorism, most of it entirely fictional and bogus.

Big Brother "Fusion Centers" Part of US Domestic Intelligence and Surveillance Apparatus

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

“To an intelligence agent, informant, or law enforcement officer,” Bruce Fein, of Bruce Fein & Associates and The Lichfield Group, said earlier this year, “everything unconventional or unorthodox looks like at least a pre-embryonic terrorist danger.” According to Fein, using the standards proposed by the Department of Homeland Security and fusion centers scattered around the country, everyone from the Founding Fathers to abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison to suffragette Susan B. Anthony would have been the subject of SARs, or suspicious activity reports.

Now SARs and intelligence reports are filed on the supporters of Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin, as a fusion center report produced by the Missouri State Police indicated earlier this year. Napolitano’s DHS produced a report of its own on “rightwing extremism” that characterized militia members, Second Amendment advocates, returning veterans, pro-life and anti-illegal immigration activists as terrorists.

In addition to fostering a snoop culture, Janet Napolitano told the CFR her agency wants to “get to a point where we are in a constant state of preparedness, not a constant state of fear.” In order to do this, the government and its enlisted army of snoops, stool pigeons, and rat finks need to “monitor home-grown threats.”

Between 1950 and 1989, the Stasi employed a total of 274,000 persons in an effort to root out the “class enemy,” that is to say anybody and everybody who opposed communism and East Germany’s Soviet-styled state. The Stasi had close to 500,000 inoffizielle Mitarbeiter (IMs), or informers, which approximated 5% of East Germany’s population between the ages of 18 and 60. The Stasi secret police and informer network rivaled that of both the Gestapo and the Soviet KGB.

It is said the former head of the Stasi, Markus Wolf, was hired by Homeland Security as a consultant back in 2003. Ditto KGB General Yevgeni Primakov.

The journalist Mike Whitney speculates that the stories about Wolf and Primakov might be “fabrications intended to mislead independent research,” but considering the track record of the Bush administration — murderous invasions claiming the lives of well over a million people, torture, rape rooms, assassination squads, massive and illegal surveillance, etc. — it is entirely possible.

It is a well established fact the United States recruited Nazis after World War Two. In addition to Wernher von Braun, Arthur Rudolph and Hubertus Strughold, the CIA recruited Nazi ideologue Emil Augsburg, an officer at the infamous Wannsee Institute, an SS mass extermination think tank. SS officer Klaus Barbie, “The Butcher of Lyon” was employed by the US Army after WW2 to spy on the French and other Nazi leaders, regarded as “specialists in anti-resistance activities,” were used in counterintelligence operations in Italy.

But even without the expertise of Wolf and Primakov, it should be obvious the United States is well along in the multifaceted process of creating a police state — or rather a political police force answerable to the executive (and those who control the executive) and tasked with maintaining the political power of the state rather than upholding the rule of law or for that matter protecting the nation against real terrorists (such as the economic and social terrorists gathered before Napolitano as she gave her speech).

A key characteristic of a police state is the creation and maintenance of a vast network of spies, informants, and agents provocateurs — again, not to guard against foreign enemies or criminals, but to hunt down, discredit, and render ineffective political dissidents.

Napolitano was in New York to inform her bosses at the Council on Foreign Relations that the secret police agency known as the Department of Homeland Security is on schedule and nothing — except that silly threat level meter — has changed in the supposed transition between the Bush and Obama administrations.

She was also sending a message to would-be snoops around the country — your services are required, especially if your neighbor has a Ron Paul bumper sticker on his car, talks about the Second Amendment, or says the Federal Reserve needs to be audited.

Incidentally, in the case of the Stasi and East Germany, only 7.7%, according to official figures, were coerced into cooperating. Most people cooperated with the state because they were made to feel important or were given material or social incentives.

It will be the same here when our particular brand of Stasi gets moving in earnest.

DHS: Remarks by Secretary Napolitano at the Council on Foreign ...

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano spoke at the New York office of the Council on Foreign Relations on July 29, outlining new challenges to protecting the country from a range of threats from domestic and international terrorism to the H1N1 virus. Secretary Napolitano said her department is trying to break down the legacy of not sharing information between federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies while working to educate citizens about how to be alert to potential threats in their communities.

Napolitano discussed the balancing act between investigating potential threats and protecting civil liberties. She emphasized that protecting the country would not stem solely from military power but from the engagement of four levels of society--the American people, local law enforcement agencies, federal agencies, and international partners.

Here are some of the points featured in her speech:

New approach to security. Napolitano said that terrorists increasingly target cyberspace and energy grids instead of physical locations. The Department of Homeland Security should work with the private sectors that are at risk of infiltration to ensure preparedness in the event of an attack. Since 85 percent of the nation’s “critical infrastructure” is owned by the private sector, Napolitano said that coordinating technologies between the government and companies is imperative to securing the country.

Borders are not the only line of defense. The United States needs to strengthen its partnerships with allies to identify threats before attacks are carried out. Americans are victims in attacks around the globe from Mumbai to Jakarta so enhancing governmental cooperation is essential to keeping citizens safe at home and abroad. Napolitano said that developments in the deal with Europe on providing passenger information before international flights is just one example of how governments need to work together to fight terrorism.

Cooperation with Mexico. Illegal immigration poses a threat to national security, Napolitano says, as it highlights areas where the border is porous. The United States is increasing its ties with the Mexican government over how to contain drug cartel violence, in addition to immigrants, from crossing the border. Security lies with tackling these issues at their root causes, not just dealing with the entry points.

Senate Homeland Security Cmte. Hearing on Terror Threat Detection

Today

In July, Homeland Security Sec. Janet Napolitano called for an integrated, networked approach to track homegrown terrorist plots like the one recently uncovered in Denver and New York City. Sec. Napolitano explained this "holistic" approach to the Senate Gov't. Affairs Cmte. FBI Dir. Robert Mueller and Michael E. Leiter, Dir., National Counterterrorism Center also testified.

By: John L. Perry

There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America's military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the "Obama problem." Don't dismiss it as unrealistic.

America isn't the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn't mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

# Officers swear to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." Unlike enlisted personnel, they do not swear to "obey the orders of the president of the United States."

# Top military officers can see the Constitution they are sworn to defend being trampled as American institutions and enterprises are nationalized.

# They can see that Americans are increasingly alarmed that this nation, under President Barack Obama, may not even be recognizable as America by the 2012 election, in which he will surely seek continuation in office.

# They can see that the economy -- ravaged by deficits, taxes, unemployment, and impending inflation -- is financially reliant on foreign lender governments.

# They can see this president waging undeclared war on the intelligence community, without whose rigorous and independent functions the armed services are rendered blind in an ever-more hostile world overseas and at home.

# They can see the dismantling of defenses against missiles targeted at this nation by avowed enemies, even as America's troop strength is allowed to sag.

# They can see the horror of major warfare erupting simultaneously in two, and possibly three, far-flung theaters before America can react in time.

# They can see the nation's safety and their own military establishments and honor placed in jeopardy as never before.

So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do?

Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistan's arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam?

Wait until Israel is forced to launch air strikes on Iran's nuclear-bomb plants, and the Middle East explodes, destabilizing or subjugating the Free World?

What happens if the generals Obama sent to win the Afghan war are told by this president (who now says, "I'm not interested in victory") that they will be denied troops they must have to win? Do they follow orders they cannot carry out, consistent with their oath of duty? Do they resign en masse?

Or do they soldier on, hoping the 2010 congressional elections will reverse the situation? Do they dare gamble the national survival on such political whims?

Anyone who imagines that those thoughts are not weighing heavily on the intellect and conscience of America's military leadership is lost in a fool's fog.

Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a "family intervention," with some form of limited, shared responsibility?

Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.

Military intervention is what Obama's exponentially accelerating agenda for "fundamental change" toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama's radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.

Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just don't shrug and say, "We can always worry about that later."

In the 2008 election, that was the wistful, self-indulgent, indifferent reliance on abnegation of personal responsibility that has sunk the nation into this morass.

Interesting article written by Becky Shay...the new contracted mouth piece for APF...to the tune of $60,000 year salary.
Shay has been the "reporter" working for the gazette and covering the stories for the detention for the past 2 years. From other articles...NO ONE in her department including her supervisors had any idea that she was taking this new position...effective as of this Friday!
Shay writes here that Two Rivers has ALREADY signed a 10 year contract...however...other reports put out by Two Rivers state that no contracts have been signed yet...as things are STILL in negations!!
This article mentions that this is the FIRST attempt by APF into corrections...however...again other reports by APF state that they are NOT interested in running a corrections facility!!
I have "yellowed" specific areas of questions and concerns...however...the entire article and operation are of questions and concerns.
Will follow up with interview report showing the contradictions made by Becky Shay and the conflicts of contracts.

Two Rivers Authority, which owns the idle jail in Hardin, has signed a 10-year contract with American Private Police Force Organization Inc. which hopes to house prisoners there and plans to build a training center for national and international police and security forces.

The contract still has to pass muster with the group that holds the $27 million revenue bonds sold to build the prison. That could be done this week. Two Rivers Authority Executive Director Greg Smith will present information to the Hardin City Council on Tuesday and hopes that more information - including the finalized contract - will be available.

For Profit Police?

Two Rivers Authority is Hardin's economic development branch. Building the detention center was meant to fill a need for prison space in Montana - which the state didn't need by the time construction was complete in 2007 - and bring good-paying jobs to Hardin.

Under the contract TRA has with the company, 80 percent of the estimated 150 jobs created with its opening will be local hires. "I think its going to be a real godsend for Hardin itself," said Mayor Ron Adams.

The international security company expects to provide workers for most of the management positions and will hold a Hardin job fair to fill the rest of the positions at the end of September.

APF's Newest Employee

"I'm excited about what this can do for Hardin," Smith said. "This building will be something besides an empty shell. It will be creating jobs and building lives for people."
Smith is already taking phone calls from potential employees on Thursday and one man stopped at the jail to ask about work.

There were also "naysayers" popping up, Smith said. People were questioning the company and its legitimacy.
The company, which has international operations, is credible, Smith said, albeit much of its work has not been public. The private security company's Web site advertises services for investigations, kidnapping and ransom, convoy security in Iraq and Afghanistan and weapon sales. The company, which claims to be able to organize a special force battalion for deployment within 72 hours, is registered as a limited liability corporation in California. This the company's first expansion into corrections, Smith said.

Smith said the research he has done on the company shows it is taking logical steps to expand its operations. The TRA board is convinced the company won't defraud Hardin, and they would not put their community into the position of being short-changed, he said.

"They have not come in and asked for us to give them really anything," Smith said. "They're not going anywhere with this building. They're going to come in and spend some of their own money to do upgrades on some of the systems. That tells me a lot."

The contract is the surest thing that has come along for the detention facility since it was built, he said.
"There will be naysayers and critics," Smith said. "But, you know, we're doing the very best with what we have to make this a success. What I'd like to do is ask them to sit back and let us be successful. There is always time for people, if they want to, to be critical. This has been a long fight. Let us do what we believe is the right thing."
As the company ramps up to operate in Hardin it will file incorporation papers with Montana, Smith said.

"We will run this facility very professionally," said Capt. Michael Hilton, with the American Private Police Force Organization. "We are very skilled."

Hilton said 90 percent of the company's contracts are for overseas work with the United States government. He said he could not disclose the size or type of those contracts or where the prisoners for Hardin's Two Rivers Detention Facility will come from.

Smith said he has discussed the potential inmate pool with the company's representatives. Smith is confident the company will follow laws and the regulations of the American Corrections Association.

"I'm real comfortable that they have to contacts in place to make this happen," Smith said. "And that they will follow the laws that are in place, both federally, in the jurisdictions they come from in the states and with the ACA. They have the wherewithal dealing with security, and the security experience and training."

Calls to confirm whether the company has contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense were not returned Thursday. The address provided on the company's Web site for Washington, D.C., leads to the business Preferred Offices, which leases real and "virtual" offices. That company's director, Ashley Corner, said it does not have a service agreement with any business named American Private Police Force Organization.

"We have no knowledge of this organization or company, or what their intent is or not," said Dwight MacKay, U.S. Marshal for Montana.

Hilton said the company plans to expand the facility to 1,000 beds by next spring, and will also operate a special training camp for U.S. and international forces in Hardin.
"I can tell you Hardin will be the safest city of the United States," Hilton said.

Smith described training as one of the company's "core competencies" and said the company has worked in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The $27 million Hardin facility, which was built to house state prisoners, drew international media attention in April when the Hardin City Council voted to seek a contract for holding Guantanamo Bay terror suspects.

Hardin officials began construction on the Two Rivers Detention Facility in June 2006 after feasibility studies indi-cated a need for more prison beds in Montana.

After the facility was built, state Department of Corrections leaders said they did not need the beds. After winning a lawsuit against the state over whether it could hold out-of-state prisoners, the town of about 3,500 has been searching for a contract to fill its vacant facility.

Bob Anez, spokesman for the Montana Department of Corrections, said that to the best of his knowledge the agency has no authority over the detention facility or over private companies brought in to run its operations.

American Police Force's Serbian Flag Similarity

American Private Police Force Organization also plans to build a 24-bed homeless shelter, an animal shelter and a state-of-the-art forensic lab in Hardin, Hilton said. The company will also help the town's schools with computers, provide access to CAT scans and give food to the hungry.
"So, if anybody is hungry in the city of Hardin if they cannot drive, we will send police officers with food," Hilton said.

Smith said the community outreach is both part of being involved in the community and being fiscally responsibly in the jail. "It's all based off the facility," he said.
Services such as the animal shelter would be housed in the facility with inmates caring for the animals.

Similar programs have been conducted at the Montana Women's Prison in Billings. The idea is that inmates are busy - and less likely to get into trouble in jail - but also learning skills. "And, it's good for the community," Smith said.
As to the community food program, Smith said that is a way the operators can ensure all food from the jail is used. Left over food will be given, possibly delivered like the Meals on Wheels program, to qualified people in need, he said.

American Private Police Force Organization has agreed to spend its own money to update some things in the jail such as the phone and computer systems, Smith said. The plan is to donate the replaced equipment within the community, including to schools.

American Police Force: Internet Scam?

APF Founder Has Criminal Background

What in Hades is going on in Montana? In April 2009, Two Rivers Authority and the Hardin City Council started looking into housing enemy combatants currently detained in Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo), Cuba. A few weeks later (May 15th), a business called the American Police Force (”APF”) registers the domain name AmericanPoliceGroup.com. The next thing you know, APF is trying to contract to operate a private jail and police training center for $27 million.

It seems that the detention facility was built but had no prisoners. APF offered to fill the jail and operate it.

Although no agreement has been reached because, among other issues, bondholders have rejected it, APF employees have apparently patrolled the streets of Hardin City in Mercedes SUVs with “Hardin City Police” decals on the sides of the vehicles…but there isn’t a city police department. Crime is handled by the county sheriff’s department.

APF Leader Exposed As Career Criminal As Hardin Patrols Labeled Unconstitutional

Think about this for a minute. A private company with no government contract suddenly decides to play police in your home town. What would you do?

It gets better. The server for APF’s website happens to host Defense Product Solutions’ website. This company registered its domain name way back on June 19, 2009. Note that both APF and DPS use the double-headed eagle for their corporate logos. AlliedDefenseSystems.com (registered March 2007) appears to be a related site. This website’s administrative contact is Mohammad Abdalla. Mr. Abdalla is listed as the COO for this company in Anaheim, CA.

Here’s where it gets more strange. The admin e-mail is for a Mr. Edward Angelino, who just happens to be listed as a small business contact for Defense Logistics Services, Inc., a company that appears to be providing foreign military sales support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Angelino has an interesting tracking record when it comes to both lawsuits and government contracts.

DESCRIPTION: Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Support to Kingdom of Saudia Arabia Logistical, Financial Management, Analysis, and Administrative Support

According to the California Secretary of State’s office, Defense Logistics Services, Inc. was formed in 2004 but is dissolved.

There is, however, an American Private Police Force Org Inc. that was incorporated March 2, 2009, and is based in Anaheim too. In addition to being the corporation’s agent for service of process, a Mr. Michael Hilton is the self-designated “Captain” of the APF.

The APF claims it is the subsidiary of a parent company but won’t identify the parent company or where APF is getting its money. The company’s Washington, D.C. address is a virtual office. Its Santa Ana, California office appears to be in an office complex with a Spanish-speaking church, a dental lab, and insurance agency.

Our main office is located in Washington D.C. and we service all 50 States and most Countries. Our experienced staff consists of highly experienced former law enforcement officers. – APF Website

Based on the above information, it seems that the websites are designed to create a much larger presence for American Police Force than actually exists. If there is actually adequate funding and professional personnel available to handle the construction and operation of a detention facility in Montana, the evidence for it isn’t readily available. If this is a scam, the government officials duped into supporting it should be thrown out of office. If the company is legit, there ought to be an investigation as to why it is patrolling the streets in vehicles with “police” decals when the employees are not municipal police. And if this is somehow a botched federal government operation to relocate Guantanamo Bay detainees, there should be Congressional hearings looking into what has occurred.

SUMATRA - A powerful underwater 7.8 earthquake has struck off the coast of Indonesia 's Sumatra island. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday damaged hundreds of houses, destroyed bridges and started fires in the costal city of Padang , witnesses told local television. It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties.

A tsunami warning was put in to effect, then later cancelled. It is not known that a tsunami was generated. This warning is based only on the earthquake evaluation. An earthquake of this size has the potential to generate a destructive tsunami that can strike coastlines near the epicenter within minutes and more distant coastlines within hours.

Authorities should take appropriate action in the response to this possibility. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center will monitor sea level data from gauges near the earthquake to determine if a tsunami was generated and estimate the severity of the threat. "Hundreds of houses have been damaged along the road," in Padang have been reported.

Mitch Battros Research on Sun-Earth

Connection and 2012

Mitch Battros presents fascinating, and sometimes shocking, research from the world's top scientists. After years of dialogue with these experts, Mitch has been accepted into the guarded halls of NASA, NOAA, ESA, Royal Observatory, the US Naval Observatory and other highly esteemed scientific bodies. In addition to the latest research on the Sun's influence on our "weather", Mitch also presents ground-breaking evidence of how the Sun and other celestial orbs produce 'charged particles' and their impact on humanity.

Just as the Sun's solar activity affects the Earth's magnetic field which has a dramatic affect on Earth's weather i.e. earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, hurricanes; so does this wave of electrical currents affect the human body's magnetic field. Mitch also reveals a little-known development from modern medicine known as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS provides empirical evidence of how magnetic fields can influence human emotions.

Solar Cycle 24 has begun - and it has been predicted by NASA, NOAA and ESA to be up to 50% stronger than its 'record breaking' predecessor Cycle 23 which produced the largest solar flare ever recorded. The Sun will reach its 'apex' (maximum) in late 2011 into 2012.

"I believe it will be the magnetic influence produced by the Sun which will usher in what is described by our ancient ancestors as "the transition" bringing us to a new state-of-being" . (Mitch Battros)

Severe Wobble Samoa

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
At noon today, I checked my 2 compasses and saw that they had switched from holding at due North for many days to 60 degrees West of North. A huge swing! Then a couple hours later, the 8.3 quake hit Samoa. A big wobble must of occurred and the compasses reflected the change. Coincidence?

[and from another]

Checked the Magnetosphere Simulator site
http://www2.nict.go.jp/y/y223/simulation/realtime/index.html and the S Pole (red) seems to have disappeared! It was shrinking when the 8.3 hit in Samoa around 17:00 UTC on September 29, but 12 hours later was completely gone! This was not the case during times when the Earth's magnetosphere was blasted by the hose of particles from the N Pole of Planet X, such as the January 21, 2009 blast here on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93fNQV08gZU What is the relationship between this odd magnetic twist and the big quakes? [and from another] USGS upgraded the September 29 Samoa quake to 8.3, and at 10:16 on September 30 Sumatra had a 7.9. Two big ones in short order, and aftershocks galore. In less than a 24 hours period there were 24 quakes above 5 for the region between these two large quakes.

Any plot of a magnetosphere will show output from the N Pole, regardless of what activity might be ongoing at the S Pole. Magnetrons flow out from the N Pole, circle round, and return at the S Pole. What would cause the Earth's magnetosphere to temporarily show only an outbound stream (blue lines), and this almost entirely turned quickly in space toward the direction of the Earth's magnetic S Pole rather than arching out into space before returning, but then bypassing the Earth's S Pole? It is as though the magnetrons are diverted away from returning to the Earth's S Pole, and this is what is occurring. We have stated that the N Pole of Planet X is increasingly pointing toward Earth, forcing the magnetic N Pole of Earth to push away during the daily Earth wobble that results. If this flow of magnetrons from Planet X is strong enough, the magnetrons flowing out the Earth's N Pole cannot fight the push in order to return to the Earth's S Pole. In this case, they join the larger field temporarily formed by Planet X and the Earth, which are attempting to form an end-to-end magnet at this point, and return through the S Pole of Planet X!

What relationship, if any, does this have to the strong series of quakes in Samoa? We have described this part of the globe, the Indo-Australian plate that is being pushed under the Himalayas, as the brake point, holding back larger plate adjustment worldwide. Thus, this is where global adjustments start. This plate moves, then other adjustment that were waiting to happen can proceed. The relationship between the magnetic simulation charts showing the S Pole temporarily disappearing and the quakes is that a stronger and more violent wobble occurred when the N Pole of Planet X temporarily pointed its N Pole at Earth, forcing an end-to-end alignment of their magnetospheres. This is a preview of the severe wobble we have stated will precede the lean-to-the-left. This is the cause of the severe wobble we have predicted. More is to come!

Wobbling Earth Triggers Climate Change

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Let’s face it. The earth is warming. It has been warming steadily -- though with some short-term variation and even some prolonged cooling periods -- for at least the last 12,000 years. Students of astronomy, geology and physical anthropology are well aware of the planet’s slow but regular warming and cooling cycles.

Between the onset of the glacial expansion about 35,000 years ago and when the current round of global warming began again, sea level had dropped 450 feet and the Virginia shore line extended about 60 miles East of its present location, according to one account of the region’s geology. The Sahara Desert was once grassland before the formation of massive sand dunes, and rising waters have reclaimed much of the ancient world’s storied coastlines, including Peloponnesia. The ancient port of Cenchreai, from which St. Paul sailed to the island of Ephesos -- submerged before the beginning of the Industrial Revolution -- is still visible in aerial photographs.

Naturally occurring cycles

Water will likely continue to rise over the world’s coastal properties and cities regardless of what portion of the warming is anthropogenic (of man-made causes).

However, public discussions of global warming are rarely framed (outside the temples of science) in the context of the naturally occurring cycles that many scientists are still trying to fully understand. A Nexis search, for example, quickly reveals that many people believe or disbelieve in global warming (forget the nuance of the anthropogenic component), and that many of those who do, also believe that it can be stopped -- by implication, then, that they can stop the eon-scale forces of nature.

In fact, some scientists are beginning to attribute Earth’s warming and cooling trends to sunspot activity, pointing to the correlation of sunspots and solar energy output to terrestrial temperature.

The alarmist propaganda that has driven the climate-change discussion -- and U.S. environmental policy -- for the last 20 years continues to confuse the global-warming discussion, especially the extent of the contribution of its anthropogenic component. That confusion will no doubt be a factor in December’s Copenhagen Conference at which negotiators will promulgate a successor to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol to control the emission of so-called greenhouse gasses, which the United States, a signatory, did not ratify.

The growing number of skeptics of the anthropogenic global-warming argument -- as it has been framed -- may also be a factor. A Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Minority Report released Dec. 11, 2008, listed more than 400 U.S. and international scientists challenging “man-made global-warming claims” by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and former Vice President Al Gore. The number of scientist skeptics has grown to more than 700 today, and much of that skepticism focuses on the importance of naturally occurring cycles.

Sunspots, weather and climate

While scientists have speculated for more than a century about how sunspot-related solar radiation streaming toward Earth affects our weather, a paper published recently (August 27) in the journal Science demonstrates how sunspot activity can produce La Niña and El Niño-like conditions over the globe’s tropical oceans.

That research, a synthesis of three computer models and more than a century of observational data, describes a new weather model in which sunspot activity tracks with measured weather patterns, but beyond emphasizing the role of sunspots, offers no implication for global warming. That may be found elsewhere.

Dr. John M. Davis, with the NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center Solar Physics Team confirmed New York Times reports by science writer Kenneth Chang that sunspot activity over the last year and a half has been much lower than expected -- no sunspots visible for 266 days in 2008 and a similar performance so far in 2009. While there were a few sunspots in July, there have been none as of August 27, Davis said.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration currently predicts a maximum of 90 sunspots for the coming 2013 solar maximum, 30 sunspots off the event’s average.

The current prolonged low output of sunspots, what Davis calls an extended minimum, is not out of character with what is known about sunspot activity, but was not predicted, he said, which is why it is generating a buzz. “There’s a lot we don’t understand,” he said, noting the complexities involved and that some other stars similar to the sun in size and age do not produce spots. Davis does not cross the line into the global-warming discussion, but he recognizes that a lack of sunspots results in a cooler climate.

Astronomy textbooks charting the sunspot record beginning with the earliest European recording of the phenomenon by Thomas Harriot in 1610, show a less-than-predictable record of sunspot output. Between 1645 and 1715, sunspot activity was almost non-existent. That period known, as the Maunder Minimum, coincided with a European cold spell referred to as the “Little Ice Age.” Norman Davies in his History of Europe (Oxford University Press, 1996) says that “Periods of glacial maxima peaked in 1599-1600, 1640-1650, 1680, 1716-1620 and 1770.”

Other cycles

Scientists have been trying for many years to understand how and why the Earth warms and cools on a cyclical basis and, even more to the point, how to predict when it will do either. Cyclical planetary and solar occurrences other than sunspots have also been the focus of many of their inquiries. For example, the Earth’s orbit changes shape over a 93,000-year period. The orbit varies from being more elliptical, with a potential to contribute to cooling as Earth passes farther from the sun for longer periods, to more circular, with the potential to contribute to warming, according to astronomer Michael A. Seeds.

The Earth wobbles, too, a phenomenon called precession. The wobble completes one cycle every 26,000 years. At one point in the wobble, the rotational North Pole points to Polaris, as it does today, 13,000 years later the pole will point roughly to Vega before returning again to Polaris.

As Earth wobbles, its tilt varies. It is now at angle of 23.5 degrees, but the tilt ranges from 22 degrees to 28 degrees over a period of about 41,000 years. As every fifth grader knows, the tilt coupled with the Earth’s revolution around the sun accounts for the seasons.

There’s more. Just as the sun’s magnetic field reverses polarity a year or two after its maximum sunspot output, Earth’s magnetic field also reverses polarity, though less frequently. In other words, the Earth’s magnetic North and South poles trade positions. They “have reversed polarity nine times in the past 3.5 million years,” according to an astronomy textbook by Michael Zeilik. The magnetospheres of both bodies interact and affect weather and climate. Other geological phenomena, including volcanic eruptions, will also affect climate.

“In 1653, local people defiantly placed a statue of St. Ignatius at the base of the [expanding] Aletsch glacier; and the glacier stopped. The contemporary glacial retreat has continued since 1850,” says historian Davies. Whether advocates of the anthropogenic global-warming view and their interest groups can stop global warming, as they claim, remains to be seen, despite what the advocates of anthropogenic global-warming say.

Tip of the iceberg

Arctic climate records indicate global warming overrides Earth's heating and cooling cycles

By Thomas H. Maugh II • Los Angeles Times • September 21, 2009

Long-term climate records from the Arctic provide strong new evidence that human-caused global warming can override Earth's natural heating and cooling cycles, U.S. researchers reported in the journal Science.

For more than 2,000 years, a natural wobble in Earth's axis has caused the Arctic region to move farther away from the sun during the region's summer, reducing the amount of solar radiation it receives. The Arctic is now 600,000 miles farther from the sun than it was in A.D. 1, and temperatures there should have fallen a little more than 1 degree Fahrenheit since then.

Instead, the region has warmed 2.2 degrees since 1900 alone, and the decade from 1998 to 2008 was the warmest in two millenniums, according to a team headed by climatologist Darrell S. Kaufman of Northern Arizona University.

Not only was the last half-century the warmest of the last 2,000 years, “but it reversed the long-term, millennial-scale trend toward cooler temperatures,” Kaufman said.

Heat release

The results seem to negate the primary argument of those who say the current warming of Earth is simply a natural variation, he said.

The Arctic region has actually warmed about three times as much as the rest of Earth through a well-known effect called Arctic amplification. As reflective snow and ice melt and are replaced by dark water and vegetated surfaces that absorb more sunlight, trapped heat is released back into the atmosphere. The absorption also thaws permafrost, releasing greenhouse gases such as methane to increase warming even more.

The climate-warming record was produced from tree rings, glacier ice and cores drilled in 14 lakes around the Arctic. Layers of sediment provided a proxy for temperatures: Thicker layers indicated higher temperatures as water from melting glaciers pushed mud into the lakes, while thinner layers indicated less melting.

All three data sources told the same story — that the Arctic began to warm at the beginning of the Industrial Age in the mid-1800s, when humans began releasing large quantities of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Shrinking glaciers

The temperature increase is supported by recent data showing that glaciers in the region are shrinking more rapidly than has ever been observed. As the glaciers shrink, they release water that raises ocean levels, threatening coastlines worldwide.

Scientists have been debating how high the oceans will rise, but many say an increase of six to nine feet is not out of the question if greenhouse gas release continues at the current rate.

The 21,000-year cycle of the axis wobble is now in its 7,000th year, and the Arctic will not reach its closest point to the sun for 14,000 more years.
