Richard M. Mexico outbreak traced to 'manure lagoons' at pig farm

TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, Mexico (Reuters) – Tucked away in southern Mexico´s jungly Chiapas state, scientists work around the clock using radiation and powdered blood to produce one of the area´s most cutting-edge exports — man-eating flies.
Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital of Chiapas, better known for spawning an armed rebellion in 1994 by guerrillas fighting for Indian rights, is home to the world´s only New World screwworm plant, breeding millions of insects each week.
It certainly does not seem to be an urban legend.

I would definitely classify this as a bonafide news report. Even news services are sometimes mislead, but given that everything in the story seems very plausable, consistent and reasonable given the existance and history of cochliomyia hominivorax, there is no reason I see to assume this is anything but proper reporting.

In the first half of the show, political scientist and expert in relocation for personal security, Joel Skousen warned that WWIII was in the works for the United States, China, and Russia. One of the main purposes behind staging such a conflict is to scare Americans into giving up their sovereignty to a new global government, he suggested.
Skousen said the collapse of the Soviet Union was a deception, and the heads of the Communist party went underground and became oligarchs. Russia plans a preemptive nuclear strike against America, he declared, by targeting such cities as Long Beach, San Diego, Seattle, Colorado Springs, Kansas City, Amarillo, Norfolk, Jacksonville, Kings Bay, GA, and Omaha, which all have military presences, as well as Washington D.C. However, a secret deal will be made with China, who'll betray Russia and attack them, he added. A nuclear attack by North Korea, or uprising in former Soviet states could act as a trigger event, drawing the U.S. in, and setting the stage for the world war, Skousen noted.

Paranormal researcher Jeff Danelek was featured in the second half of the program, discussing UFOs/ETs as well as ghosts. He believes it's more likely the ETs who visit us hail from other planets rather than other dimensions, and they come here for a variety of reasons, including curiosity, colonization, and the seeking of resources. Regarding alien abductions, one explanation is that the incidents only happen in the abductee's mind, and the ETs have found a way to manipulate the brain, and induce hallucinations.
After people die they enter into a transition zone, a period of acclimatization, but some remain stuck in this zone and become what we call ghosts, Danelek reasoned. He also detailed what he called "extracelestials"-- spirit guides, angels, and other supernatural entities, and apparitions, which could be non-human objects such as a ghost airplane. IX. THE ARMY ON THE MARCH

encamping the army, and observing signs of the enemy.
Pass quickly over mountains, and keep in the neighborhood

2. Camp in high places, facing the sun. Do not climb
heights in order to fight. So much for mountain warfare.
3. After crossing a river, you should get far away
from it.
4. When an invading force crosses a river in its
onward march, do not advance to meet it in mid-stream.
It will be best to let half the army get across,
and then deliver your attack.
5. If you are anxious to fight, you should not go
to meet the invader near a river which he has to cross.
6. Moor your craft higher up than the enemy, and facing
the sun. Do not move up-stream to meet the enemy.
So much for river warfare.
7. In crossing salt-marshes, your sole concern
should be to get over them quickly, without any delay.
8. If forced to fight in a salt-marsh, you should
have water and grass near you, and get your back
to a clump of trees. So much for operations in salt-marches.
9. In dry, level country, take up an easily accessible
position with rising ground to your right and on your rear,
so that the danger may be in front, and safety lie behind.

it is the sign of chariots advancing; when the dust is low,

it shows that parties have been sent to collect firewood.
A few clouds of dust moving to and fro signify that the army
is encamping.
24. Humble words and increased preparations are signs
that the enemy is about to advance. Violent language
and driving forward as if to the attack are signs that he

25. When the light chariots come out first and take

34. When an army feeds its horses with grain and kills
its cattle for food, and when the men do not hang their
cooking-pots over the camp-fires, showing that they
will not return to their tents, you may know that they
are determined to fight to the death.
35. The sight of men whispering together in small
knots or speaking in subdued tones points to disaffection
amongst the rank and file.
36. Too frequent rewards signify that the enemy is
at the end of his resources; too many punishments betray
a condition of dire distress.
37. To begin by bluster, but afterwards to take fright
at the enemy's numbers, shows a supreme lack of intelligence.
38. When envoys are sent with compliments in their mouths,
it is a sign that the enemy wishes for a truce.
39. If the enemy's troops march up angrily and remain
facing ours for a long time without either joining
battle or taking themselves off again, the situation
is one that demands great vigilance and circumspection.
40. If our troops are no more in number than the enemy,
that is amply sufficient; it only means that no direct attack
can be made. What we can do is simply to concentrate all
our available strength, keep a close watch on the enemy,

Harris believes that UFO phenomena is intertwined with aspects of the paranormal such as different dimensions and ESP, as well as Earth mysteries like crop circles and Bigfoot. She recommended the video clip Amazing NASA UFO footage, in which Jaime Maussan gives a presentation at the 2009 International UFO Congress.
Making a rare appearance on the show, first hour guest, noted scholar Zecharia Sitchin talked about his latest endeavor, The Earth Chronicles Handbook, which he called a "GPS" to his earlier seven book series. The new guidebook serves as an encyclopedic compendium of the myths and actual events from humanity's ancient civilizations such as the Sumerians. He said there is evidence that the Annunaki (visitors from the planet Nibiru which has an elliptical orbit in our solar system) left Earth in 550 BC but promised to return. Sitchin also claimed that astronomers had seen Nibiru but hushed up the information.

A member of the committee of 300 has provided additional information about it. They can trace their history in Europe back to the Medici family in Venice 800 years ago although the real roots almost certainly trace back to ancient Babylon. They made their first fortune as intermediaries in trade between Europe and the Orient. Over time they shifted their headquarters to Amsterdam so they could by-pass their Byzantine intermediaries and trade directly with Asia via the Dutch East Indies Company. They learned to control society with powder, gold and the pen. That is to say by a combination of murder (gun powder), bribery and propaganda. Now their headquarters can be found in three independent city states. The gun-powder or military capital is the independent city state of Washington D.C. The gold or bribery capital is the independent city of London. The pen or propaganda capital is the independent Vatican city state.

The 2009 Bilderberg Group Conference will be held at the five-star Nafsika Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni, Greece, May 14-17, according to author Daniel Estulin. Insiders have told Estulin that rooms have been booked and flight plans made. He has also confirmed the location and dates with sources in Greece. Estulin is the world’s foremost investigative authority on this annual secretive and exclusive assembly, having investigated and infiltrated their meetings for over ten years.
His books and reporting have helped to bring the powerful group out of the shadows, even directly affecting the very conduct and timing of the meetings … and encapsulating them in an even deeper shroud of secrecy. The Bilderberg Group started meeting in 1954, with funding from the CIA, to gather together the top Western bankers, politicians, media barons, corporate CEO‘s and European royalty in annual gatherings for frank discussions on important issues of the day.

New revelations have shed more light on weather modification programs, also referred to as geo-engineering, commonly called chem-trails. The “new” terminology, ‘Precipitation Enhancement‘, has revealed government and governmental contractors have been dispersing chemicals into the atmosphere on a regular basis for decades, dating back to the 1950’s. This article is an attempt to remove the conspiracy theory label that has been attached to very real man-made phenomenon of weather modification.
Precipitation Enhancement programs are ongoing in Texas, California, Australia, China, Iran, and many other locations worldwide. The following programs are documented, and the websites below list the flight missions over Central and South Texas:
There are currently at least 10 precipitation programs underway in Texas, covering more than 50 million acres, under the Edwards Aquifer Authority since 1999. California has cloud seeding programs underway under the authority of Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
Water management is the supposed justification for many of these programs, but upon further investigation, flash flooding and severe thunderstorms are typical results. As a side note, flood insurance in Texas is hard to obtain.
The U.S. Military has been involved in weather modification for half a century, and the extent to which they have progressed is still unknown, however we do know that droughts, floods and general degradation of enemy forces are a few objectives the Air Force can produce. This document describes the known uses for military applications of weather modification, and this link will take you to a database of weather modification PDFs.
Waylon “Ben” Livingston, aka the father of weather weapons, in an interview with documentary film-maker Alex Jones, admitted the weather was being modified around the world, using what was learned a half-decade ago flooding the Ho Chi Minh trail in Vietnam.
We now have documentation revealing Geo-engineering (1), (2), (3), (4), Weather Modification (5), and Precipitation Enhancement (6), from governments, universities, private companies and public companies such as water districts. The debate about whether or not chemicals are being dispersed in our sky on a regular basis should now shift to focusing on what recourse we the people have to stop these unnatural and harmful secret programs.

If you obtain a permit, you can modify the weather, just be sure to follow the 200 pages of guidelines.

Police in the UK are encouraging citizens to report people who drive nice cars or buy expensive items to the authorities in a new campaign entitled, ‘Too Much Bling? Give Us a Ring’.
“The Gloucestershire force is encouraging members of the public to report people wearing too much ‘bling’ during the recession. They are also urging people to shop anyone who drives flash cars or buys expensive items without the apparent means to afford them during the credit crunch,” reports the Daily Mail.
Posters for the campaign indicate that the targets of the stasi-like crackdown are well-dressed people who own expensive cars, boats and smoke cigars. Apparently, police in the UK think that actually being middle class and able to afford a nice lifestyle is a sign of probable criminal behavior.
Gloucestershire’s Chief constable Dr Timothy Brain said, “In the current time of financial uncertainty, those who live a lavish lifestyle with no discernable, legitimate income become even more apparent.”

A study designed to rank countries in terms of how aggressively they monitor their populations electronically, has placed the US as 6th and the UK as 5th on a global index.
The two countries lag behind only China, North Korea, Belarus and Russia in terms of governmental surveillance.
The report, titled The Electronic Police State, (PDF link) was compiled from information available from different organizations such as the Electronic Privacy Information Center, Reporters Without Borders, Freedom House, the Ludwig von Mises Institute and The Heritage Foundation.
52 countries were rated on 17 criteria with regard to how far down the line they are toward a total electronic police state.
The study was undertaken by a private company called “CryptoHippie“, which specializes in privacy technologies.

FORT WAYNE, Ind., (WANE) --- - Instead of bad guys, more than a dozen police officers were tased as part of taser training Tuesday morning at the Public Safety Academy.
It’s an eight hour training with five very painful seconds.
Officer Edward Black describes the pain as “a very fast pace pulsing sensation going up my spine.”
“It’s an eternity, but once it’s over, it’s over,” Officer Scott Morales told NewsChannel 15. “When I got hit, I tried to think about going down, but I couldn’t. I was one solid muscle and there’s nothing you can do.”
Military Police at the Kentucky Derby
A Google News search does not produce a story or even a brief mention of the fact military police were on hand at the Kentucky Derby to keep restless plebs in line. However, an Associated Press photograph, posted on the Yahoo! News website, shows two MPs in combat fatigues with side arms restraining a man at the derby.
“Military police detain a fan who ran onto the track following the running of the 135th Kentucky Derby horse race at Churchill Downs Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Louisville, Ky.,” the photo caption reads.
The photo was also included in a slideshow on the Yahoo! Sports website, although the text of the article does not contain a mention of military police at the event.
“The military has NO BUSINESS policing the citizens except during extraordinarily exceptional times of national emergency by an executive order. This is very disturbing and completely un-American. Maybe even more disturbing is that no one seems to care how quietly and easily we have accepted the burgeoning police state,” an article comment states.
Infowars has reported on numerous instances of military involvement with local law enforcement in violation of Posse Comitatus. In March, we reported on U.S. Army troops dispatched to patrol the streets of Samson, Alabama, after a murder spree.
On April 6, we reported on a DHS, federal, state, Air Force, and local law enforcement checkpoint in Tennessee. On April 3, Infowars was instrumental in the cancellation of a seatbelt checkpoint that was to be conducted in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and the 251st Military Police in Bolivar, Tennessee.Last December, we reported on the Marine Corps Air and Ground Combat Center dispatching troops to work with police on checkpoints in in San Bernardino County, California.
On Aprill 22, we reported the deployment of 400 National Guard Combat Support Battalion troops to “maintain public order” at the Boston Marathon.
Last June, Infowars posted an article by D. H. Williams of the Daily Newscaster reporting the deployment of 2,300 Marines in the city of Indianapolis under the direction of FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.
Prison Planet’s Paul Joseph Watson reported a story on April 22 covering the assault of a local television news team by an irate police officer in El Paso, Texas. A video taken by the news videographer shows uniformed soldiers working with police officers at the scene of a car accident.
The presence of uniformed and armed military police at the Kentucky Derby is part of an ongoing campaign to acclimate the populace to the presence of soldiers at public events.

First, it was a Missouri Analysis and Information Center (MIAC) report; then it was a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report; now it is a New York congressman's bill. Each of these items, taken on their own, is problematic enough; taken together they portend "a clear and present danger" to the liberties of the American people. It is getting very serious now.
As readers may recall, the MIAC report profiled certain people as being potential violence-prone "militia members": including people who supported Presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and myself. In addition, anyone who opposed one or more of the following were also included in the list: the New World Order, the U.N., gun control, the violation of Posse Comitatus, the Federal Reserve, the Income Tax, the Ammunition Accountability Act, a possible Constitutional Convention, the North American Union, the Universal Service Program, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), abortion on demand, or illegal immigration.
The MIAC report prompted a firestorm of protest, and was eventually rescinded, with the man responsible for its distribution being dismissed from his position. The DHS report profiled many of the same people included in the MIAC report, and added returning Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans as potentially dangerous "extremists."
As I have said before, it is very likely that when all of the opinions and views of the above lists are counted, 75% or more of the American people would be included. Yet, these government reports would have law enforcement personnel to believe we are all dangerous extremists that need to be watched and guarded against. If this was not bad enough, a New York congressman has introduced a bill in the House of Representatives to deny Second Amendment rights to everyone listed above.
According to World Net Daily, May 9, 2009, "A new gun law being considered in Congress, if aligned with Department of Homeland Security memos labeling everyday Americans a potential 'threats,' could potentially deny firearms to pro-lifers, gun-rights advocates, tax protesters, animal rights activists, and a host of others--any already on the expansive DHS watch list for potential 'extremism.'
"Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., has sponsored H.R. 2159, the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2009, which permits the attorney general to deny transfer of a firearm to any 'known or suspected dangerous terrorist.' The bill requires only that the potential firearm transferee is 'appropriately suspected' of preparing for a terrorist act and that the attorney general 'has a reasonable belief' that the gun might be used in connection with terrorism.
"Gun rights advocates, however, object to the bill's language, arguing that it enables the federal government to suspend a person's Second Amendment rights without any trial or legal proof and only upon suspicion of being 'dangerous.'"
WND quotes Gun Owners of America Executive Director Larry Pratt as saying, "By [DHS] standards, I'm one of [DHS Secretary] Janet Napolitano's terrorists. This bill would enable the attorney general to put all of the people who voted against Obama on no-gun lists, because according to the DHS, they're all potential terrorists. Actually, we could rename this bill the Janet Napolitano Frenzied Fantasy Implementation Act of 2009."
Pratt was also quoted as saying, "Unbeknownst to us, some bureaucrat in the bowels of democracy can put your name on a list, and your Second Amendment rights are toast." He went on to say, "This such an anti-American bill, this is something King George III would have done."
Now that DHS has established both a list and a lexicon for "extremists," it looks to Congress to confer upon it police-state-style powers through which these individuals may be disarmed and eventually done away with. Rep. Peter King is accommodating this goal with H.R. 2159.
Let me ask a reasonable question: how long does anyone think it would be, after being profiled by DHS and denied the lawful purchase of firearms, that those same people would be subjected to gun confiscation? And how long do you think it would be before DHS began profiling more and more groups of people, thus subjecting them to gun confiscation?
This was exactly the strategy employed by Adolf Hitler. The Jews were the first people denied their civil rights--especially the right to own and possess firearms. Of course, after disarming Jews, the rest of the German citizenry was likewise disarmed. And we all know where that led.
I'm not sure how many of the American people realize that it was the attempted confiscation of the colonialists' cache of arms in Concord, Massachusetts, that started America's War for Independence. Yes, my friends, it was attempted gun confiscation that triggered (pun intended) the "shot heard 'round the world." And now it would appear that, once again, a central government is on the verge of trying to deny the American people their right to keep and bear arms.
I am told that as of 2004, 50% of the adults in the United States own one or more firearms, totaling some 270 million privately owned firearms nationwide. I would venture to say that the vast majority of these gun owners would find themselves matching the DHS profile of a potential "extremist." I wonder how many gun owners realize the way they are now being targeted by their government, and just how serious--and how close--the threat of gun confiscation has become?
Mystery of message in a bottle found at Auschwitz solved
If one doubts the intention of the elitists in government today to deny the American people their right to keep and bear arms, consider what former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger is purported to have said just a couple of weeks ago. Kissinger attended a high-level meeting with Russian President Medvedev that also included former Secretaries of State James Baker and George Shultz; former Secretary of Defense William Perry; and former Senator Sam Nunn. Included in the discussions was Kissinger's assertion that the American people were now ready to accept a "New Global Order." He is also reported to have told Medvedev, "By September we'll have confiscated all privately owned guns so it really doesn't matter what we do, we'll still be in charge." (Even though the national news media has not reported this statement, the Internet is abuzz with Kissinger having said it. Whether Kissinger actually made that statement or not, he, and rest of his ilk, have repeatedly called for a New World Order, in which there will be no constitutional protection for the right to keep and bear arms.)
This leads to a very serious question: how many of America's gun owners would allow their government to deny them gun ownership? Further, how many would passively sit back and allow their guns to be confiscated?
As humbly and meekly as I know how to say it: as for me and my house, gun confiscation is the one act of tyranny that crosses the line; debate, discourse, discussion, and peaceful dissent cease and desist at that point. I say again, it is getting very serious now.

Mom wrongly attacked by a K-9 police dog
FORT WAYNE, Ind., (WANE) -- - Days after a Fort Wayne mom was wrongly attacked by a police dog, the department’s admitting that officer error is to blame. The incident happened Thursday evening in the 3000 block of Euclid Avenue on the city’s south side. A police pursuit for drive-by suspects ended with the police K-9 confusing a young mother for a bad guy. “She was the victim, at the wrong place at the wrong time,” says Ft. Wayne Police K-9 trainer Kevin Weber. The victim was Tamara West. She heard all the sirens and commotions and ran to pick up her two-year-old who was playing in the front yard. That was moments after a K-9 officer pulled up on the scene and deployed his dog to help in the arrest. West recalls, “When the dog came out, [the officer] just opened the door and kept running toward where the house was! Well, the dog came toward my baby.” Weber explains, “The dog runs run 40 miles per hour, so it took less than three seconds for him to go, and by that time, the dog grabbed Ms. West on the buttocks area, the thigh.” |

The goal is to put the vaccine into the corn that the pigs will eat to help stop diseases like swine flu from happening. “We're trying to figure out which genes from the swine influenza virus to incorporate into corn so those genes, when expressed, would produce protein," said Hank Harris, professor in animal science and one of the researchers on the project. "When the pig consumes that corn, it would serve as a vaccine." The goal, if things go well, is to have this vaccinated corn available in 5-7 years. Tests need to be done to make sure that the vaccines will work when given to the pigs orally through the corn. Pigs aren’t the only ones who could “benefit” from this genetically altered corn. According to the researchers, the corn vaccine would also work in humans when they eat corn or even corn flakes, corn chips, tortillas or anything that contains corn, Harris said.

History has it that the great rulers of Canaan, the ancient land of Israel, were all men. But a recent dig conducted by Tel Aviv University (TAU) archaeologists at Tel Beth-Shemesh has uncovered possible evidence of a mysterious female ruler.
Prof. Shlomo Bunimovitz and Dr. Zvi Lederman of the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Civilizations have uncovered an unusual ceramic plaque of a goddess in male dress, suggesting that a mighty female "king" may have ruled the city. If true, they say, the plaque would depict the only known female ruler of the region.
The plaque itself depicts a figure dressed as royal male figures and deities once appeared in Egyptian and Canaanite art. The figure's hairstyle, though, is womanly and its bent arms are holding lotus flowers - attributes given to women. This plaque, art historians suggest, may be an artistic representation of the "Mistress of the Lionesses," a female Canaanite ruler who was known to have sent distress letters to the Pharaoh in Egypt reporting unrest and destruction in her kingdom.
"We took this finding to an art historian who confirmed our hypothesis that the figure was a female," says Lederman. "Obviously something very different was happening in this city. We may have found the 'Mistress of the Lionesses' who'd been sending letters from Canaan to Egypt. The destruction we uncovered at the site last summer, along with the plaque, may just be the key to the puzzle."
A female ruler in pre-Exodus Canaan
The two letters came from a "Mistress of the Lionesses" in Canaan. She wrote that bands of rough people and rebels had entered the region, and that her city might not be safe. Because the el-Amarna tablets were found in Egypt rather than Canaan, historians have tried to trace the origin of the tablets.
"The big question became, 'What city did she rule?'" say Lederman and Bunimovitz. The archaeologists believe that she ruled as king (rather than "queen," which at the time described the wife of a male king) over a city of about 1,500 residents. A few years ago, Prof. Nadav Naaman, also of TAU, suggested that she might have ruled the city of Beth Shemesh, but there has been no proof until now.
"The city had been violently destroyed, in a way we rarely see in archaeology," says Bunimovitz, who points to many exotic finds buried under the destruction, including an Egyptian royal seal, bronze arrowheads and complete large storage vessels. They suggest a large and important city-state, well enmeshed within East Mediterranean geo-political and economic networks.
Time for a new interpretation of biblical history?
Tel Aviv University archaeologists say that the new finds might turn the interpretation of pre-biblical history on its head. The people of the time were pagans who had a very elaborate religious system.
"It was a very well-to-do city," says Lederman. "Strangely, such extensive destruction, like what we found in our most recent dig, is a great joy for archaeologists because people would not have had time to take their belongings. They left everything in their houses. The site is loaded with finds," he says, adding that the expensive items found in the recent level points to it as one of the most important inland Canaanite cities.
The discovery of the plaque, and the evidence of destruction recorded in the el-Amarna tablets, could confirm that the woman depicted in the figurine was the mysterious "Mistress of the Lionesses" and ruled Canaanite Beth Shemesh. "There is no evidence of other females ruling a major city in this capacity," Lederman and Bunimovitz say. "She is the only one. We really hope to find out more about her this summer."
