"Swine Flu" has no link to Piggies

What to call the new strain of flu raising alarms around the world now as political, economic and diplomats changing thier pig headed overtones.

So after careful review of the criteria required for there to be some kind of pandemic to occur.
The so called tracing the origins of an outbreak doesn't make any sence with declaring it an emergency, when no single death has occured from it yet in the U.S. and it didn't mutate as previously stated, as to the origins of some unsanitary pig farm in Mexico. So where exactly did this outbreak come from, if there has yet to be reported no single case of infected pigs, anywhere? So does this mean that after this latest news there should be need to re-classify this virus since there is no link to this virus mutating from pigs?

So if it didn't come from pigs,
where did it come from?

US Officials Offer New Name for Swine Flu

The New World Organization(NWO) for Animal Health, which handles veterinary issues around the world, issued a statement late Monday suggesting that the new disease should be labeled

“North American influenza,”

Millions of pigs died in China two years ago in an epidemic so severe that it pushed pork prices up 90 percent. Veterinarians attributed the deaths at the time mainly to blue-ear disease, which does not affect humans, but also to swine flu. The Chinese government did not issue a public report assessing the outbreak and provided very few details to international organizations.

Dr. Sandy Amass, Professor of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Purdue University says the latest outbreak of what is now called, “North American Flu” has nothing to do with pigs, but pigs are susceptible to getting the flu from humans. which is why Dr. Amass says producers need to keep sick people away from the pigs.

“If you have sick employees you do now want them to come to work if they seem to have the flu because there’s the potential they could get the pigs sick, and you don’t want visitors on the farm and that’s pretty standard biosecurity,” said Dr. Amass.

Dr. Amass also tells Brownfield that if pigs are showing signs of having the flu have your veterinarian test the pigs.

“And the signs of the flu in pigs are just like the signs in people,” Dr Amass said. “They get a cough, they get a runny nose, they’ll have a fever, they feel lousy, they just want to lie down and sleep, but they usually recover in about five days.”

How WHO measures a pandemic

April 28th, 2009

The World Health Organization has six phases of pandemic alert to assess the potential for a new global flu outbreak.

WHO Issues Higher Alert on Swine Flu, With Advice

- Phase 1. There are no viruses circulating in animals that have been reported to cause infections in humans.

- Phase 2. An animal has caused infections in humans in the past and is considered to be a potential pandemic threat.

- Phase 3. An animal or mixed animal-human virus has caused occasional cases or small clusters of disease, but the virus does not spread easily. The world is currently in phase 3, with H5N1 viruses sporadically infecting humans and occasionally spreading from human to human.

- Phase 4. The new virus can cause sustained outbreaks and is adapting itself to human spread.

- Phase 5. The virus has spread into at least two countries and is causing even bigger outbreaks.

- Phase 6. More outbreaks in at least two regions of the world; the pandemic is under way.

If the World Health Organization raises its pandemic alert level to 4 or 5, that signals that the virus is becoming increasingly adept at spreading between humans. That would signal to governments they should ready their pandemic preparedness plans and increase detection systems for potential cases.

With an elevated pandemic alert level, WHO might also issue travel advisories, warning against nonessential travel to regions battling outbreaks, trade restrictions, the cancellation of public events or border closures.

During the SARS outbreak in 2003, WHO travel advisories drastically slashed travel to affected regions, curtailing the outbreak

Involuntary quarantine an option if swine flu explodes into epidemic

28 Apr 2009 Quarantine may seem the stuff of mediocre melodramas, but if the swine flu explodes into an epidemic, involuntary isolation could become a reality for more than a few unlucky Americans. The federal government can declare a state of emergency. But the power to isolate or quarantine citizens, rests in the hands of the states, or in some cases, local governments. In a health emergency, people can be forced into isolation or quarantine without the government getting a court order first. How to prepare for the upcoming influenza pandemic
pr pr NOLINKNEWS

San Dimas, CA (PRWEB) March 11, 2005 — Are communicable disease researchers blaming biological terrorists for the discovery of a mutated human influenza virus in pigs so they don’t have to shoulder blame for accidental release of the virus into animals? Is the alleged threat of an influenza pandemic a repeat of the fizzled-out Swine flu and SARS virus scares? If a worldwide flu epidemic ensues, will anti-viral drugs be safe and effective, or even accessible? Why does the Centers for Disease Control continue to say they are unprepared for a widespread flu outbreak when they have been planning for such an occurrence for more than five years? Why don’t public health authorities advocate any preventive measures beyond flu vaccination? Why don’t public health authorities address the role nutrition plays in immunity from viral diseases? Health journalist Bill Sardi seeks answers to these questions at www.askbillsardi.com

Swine flu not naturally occurring

Experts report that the swine flu virus combines genes of various diseases which affect both humans and pigs. According to them, this could indicate that the deadly illness is man-made.

Wayne Madsen – an investigative journalist from Washington presents his own theory on the origins of the creeping virus.

Four-year-old Mexican boy could hold key in search for source of swine flu outbreak

The swine flu virus is described as a completely new strain, an intercontinental mixture of human, avian and swine viruses. Tellingly, there have been no reported A-H1N1 infections of pigs.

According to a source known to former NSA official Wayne Madsen, “A top scientist for the United Nations, who has examined the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in Africa, as well as HIV/AIDS victims, concluded that H1N1 possesses certain transmission “vectors” that suggest that the new flu strain has been genetically-manufactured as a military biological warfare weapon.

Mexican swine flu outbreak a man-made pandemic?

According the Chicago Breaking News Center Baxter International, Inc. will take a leading role in creating a vaccine for the latest outbreak:
"Deerfield-based medical product giant Baxter International Inc. is working with the World Health Organization on a potential vaccine to curb the spread of the swine flu outbreak in Mexico, the company confirmed today. Baxter, which has a growing vaccine business, has worked with foreign countries in the past to develop vaccines for the H5N1 virus commonly known as bird flu. Baxter has a cell-based technology that allows the company to more rapidly produce vaccines in the event of a pandemic than a decades-old method that uses eggs to process vaccines and can take weeks or even months longer." See "Baxter to work to contain Mexico flu outbreak"
This is a significant development due to the fact that the Baxter International, Inc., is still being investigated by the World Health Organization and the European Center for Disease Control as to why, and how, they mixed live avian flu (H5H1) viruses with a human flu (H3N2) viruses, which, had they been administered, could have set of a global pandemic earlier this year. According to authorities, this contamination could not have been a mistake due to industry and government enforced lab safety protocols designed to prevent such contamination. For instance, Baxter International adheres to something called BSL3 (Biosafety Level 3) lab safety protocols that put in place to prevent cross-contamination of materials. As explained on Wikipedia:
“Laboratory personnel have specific training in handling pathogenic and potentially lethal agents, and are supervised by competent scientists who are experienced in working with these agents. This is considered a neutral or warm zone. All procedures involving the manipulation of infectious materials are conducted within biological safety cabinets or other physical containment devices, or by personnel wearing appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment. The laboratory has special engineering and design features.”

The swine flu story has captured the news cycle for three days and counting now and that’s perpetuating the hysteria, according to Fox News Channel’s Brit Hume.

Hume appeared on the FNC’s “The Live Desk with Trace Gallagher” April 27 and blasted the media in general for hyping the swine flu story 24/7.

“I realize it’s been a slow weekend in terms of news,” Hume said. “The president went out and played golf on Sunday. The White House reporters don’t have much to work with today, so they’re trying to get a piece of this swine flu story, which you know, all the cable news channels are agog about, bug-eyed about. But so far, it doesn’t amount to much in the United States of America.”

Congress Trying to Implement the Medical Records Gun Ban
-- Step #2 in fraudulent budget process comes to a vote on Wednesday

Congress is moving closer to a showdown over the largest expansion of
government in modern U.S. history -- a bill which would require
virtually every single American to buy government-approved health
insurance
, whether they wanted it or not.. And, in the process, that
bill would feed all of your most confidential medical data into an
enormous database, which could be used to take away your guns.

This is a bit complicated. But here's where we are:

Once a year, the 1974 Budget Act allows Congress to pass a bill --
solely for the purpose of balancing the budget -- and that bill cannot
be filibustered in the Senate. Hence, it can be passed with only fifty
Democrat votes (plus the vice president), without any Republican
support.

Now, that supposed "budget-balancing bill" is called the "reconciliation
bill
" -- and it can only be created if the annual budget resolution
mandates it.

Three weeks ago, the Senate considered its version of the annual budget
resolution
. Gun Owners of America asked you to oppose passage of the
Senate version of the budget resolution for two reasons:

* First, although the Senate version of the bill did not contain
language mandating the giant anti-gun database and the huge $10,000+
per person government health mandate, the Pelosi-devised House version
did.

* Second, although Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (D-ND)
protested mightily that the Senate version did not mandate the anti-gun
database and health mandate, GOA found out that Conrad intended all
along to capitulate in House/Senate conference to the Pelosi language.

Now, the budget resolution has come back from conference, and guess
what?

Budget Chairman Conrad stabbed us in the back, just as GOA thought he
would. His actions meant that Senators didn't have to go on record
voting for gun control the first time around.

The conference report gives Senate and House Republicans until September
to cave in and agree to pass the anti-gun database and $10,000+ health
mandate. And, if they do not, the Left Wing Democratic leadership will
pass their own bill with 50 Senate votes -- and no Republicans.

And, incidentally, when we say "anti-gun database," we mean that
everything your kid told his pediatrician about whether you have a gun
collection will be searchable by the government. And people with
Alzheimer's, ADHD, and other disorders will begin losing their gun
rights just as quickly as veterans -- who have seen the ramifications of
being on a government database.

Although the next vote on this budget resolution will not be the final
battle in this eight-month war, GOA is asking senators and
representatives to vote against the sleazy, corrupt budget resolution
conference
report -- scheduled for a Senate vote this Wednesday.

Incidentally, the one thing that the federal government can do to reduce
health costs is to remove the anti-gun federal laws which prohibit more
Americans from using firearms to defend themselves and their families.

ACTION:

Contact your senators and representative. Ask them to vote against the
"fraud scheme" which the budget resolution conference report has become.

Please use the Gun Owners Legislative Action Center at
http://www.gunowners.org/activism.htm to send your legislators the
pre-written e-mail message below.

You can also call them toll-free at 1-877-762-8762.

----- Pre-written letter -----

Dear

The budget resolution conference report would set the stage for
legislation to require virtually every American to purchase
government-approved health insurance. And it would use government
control over health insurance to require providers to feed our most
confidential medical data into an anti-gun government database.

When I say "anti-gun database," I mean that everything a kid tells his
pediatrician about his dad's gun collection will be searchable by the
government. And people with Alzheimer's, ADHA, and other disorders will
begin losing their gun rights just as quickly as veterans -- who have
seen the ramifications of being on a government database for the last
decade.

The budget resolution was sold to the Senate under a lie. Senators were
told that the Senate version contained no "reconciliation instructions"
when, all along, Budget Chairman Kent Conrad intended to immediately
capitulate in conference.

Please show that such underhanded tactics are unacceptable in the
Congress. Please vote against the budget resolution conference report.

Sincerely,

Marine Corps hope to reach ex-Lejeune residents about tainted water

The U.S. Marine Corps is trying new methods to reach Marines, civilians and their families who lived at Camp Lejeune, N.C., over a 30-year period when the drinking water was contaminated.

The service recently circulated fliers to bases around the world to be posted in public places such as commissaries. For several years, the Marine Corps has had an outreach program to contact as many people as possible who might have been affected by the tainted water.

"We’ve started using different venues to reach different populations in different areas," Corps spokeswoman Capt. Amy Malugani said.

The Marine Corps is trying to reach some 500,000 people who lived and worked on the base November 1957 through February 1987, years in which experts believed well water was contaminated. To date, nearly 130,000 are in the Notification Registry.

Space explosion is farthest thing ever seen

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Scientists say a faint burst of radiation discovered last week is the remnant of a massive stellar explosion that took place more than 13 billion years ago, or only about 630 million years after the big bang.

The gamma-ray burst, dubbed GRB 090423, points to what astronomers are calling the most distant object in the universe.

Gamma rays are the highest-energy wavelength of light produced when high-energy particles collide. The large-scale gamma-ray bursts are believed to be produced when massive stars collapse into black holes, releasing jets of gas that react and heat up the gas surrounding the dying star.

Vernor Vinge: The Singularity Is Coming... And With It... The End Of Humanity As You Know It
The Singularity. Ray Kurzweil has popularized it and, by now, some of our readers no doubt drop it frequently into casual conversation and await it like salvation. (The second “helping?”) but many more are still unfamiliar with the concept. The contemporary notion of the Singularity got started with legendary SF writer Vernor Vinge, whose 1981 novella True Names pictured a society on the verge of this “event.” In a 1993 essay, “The Coming Technological Singularity,” Vinge made his vision clear, writing that “within thirty years, we will have the technological means to create superhuman intelligence. Shortly after, the human era will be ended.” We caught up with Vinge at the 2008 Singularity Summit in San Jose, California, where he opened the proceedings in conversation with bob Pisani of CNBC... You are contemplating something that can surpass the most competitively effective feature humans have — intelligence. So it’s entirely natural that there would be some real uneasiness about this. As I said, the nearest analogy in the history of the earth is probably the rise of humans within the animal kingdom. There are some things about that which might not be good for humans. on the other hand, I think this points toward something larger. Thinking about the possibility of creating or becoming something of superhuman intelligence is an example of an optimism that is so far-reaching that it forces one to look carefully at what one has wanted.

ASA Tech School Aims To Alter Future Humans
During the first three weeks of the programme, students will receive an introduction to the school’s 10 main areas of study, including artificial intelligence and robotics, biotechnology and bioinformatics, and futures studies and forecasting. In the same way that a liberal arts education delivers an overview of literature, history and social theory, Singularity University intends to give students a crash course in subjects such as neuroscience and “human enhancement”. The second three weeks of the programme will give students a chance to study, in-depth, a subject new to them. An expert in nanotechnology, for example, might take on energy and the environment. “The biggest innovations in the world happen when you cross two disparate fields,” Ismail says. “[Johannes] Kepler looked at the moon and the tides and thought they may be connected. Today, people are doing 3D ‘printing’ of human organs using stem cells.” Linking early astronomy to stem cell technology is a bit of a stretch, but sure, intellectual cross-pollination can spur on innovation.

Astrobiologists Hope To Reanimate Extinct Genes
The movie Jurassic Park was a lesson in how resurrecting extinct organisms can go awry. A new project plans to take a safer route... A nearly complete DNA sequence of the woolly mammoth (which died out about 11,000 years ago) was published last November, giving some people ideas about bringing these giants back to life. However, finding frozen hair and tissue samples is not the only way to isolate extinct DNA. Gaucher and his colleagues have shown that it is possible to estimate the genes that existed in long-dead organisms by doing a genetic survey of their family tree. It is a bit like guessing what color your great-great-great grandmother's eyes were by cataloguing the eye colors of all her living descendants and playing back the rules of inheritance. In the case of gene reconstruction, Gaucher's team estimates the DNA code of an extinct life form by comparing the codes of its living descendants and using theories of genetic mutations.

Astronomers Take Virtual Plunge Into Black Hole
Dare to fall into a black hole and you would get vaporized in what is probably the most violent place in the universe. But the journey would yield some amazing sights, though you might need three eyes for the best view of what's going on, new research suggests. Humans have only gotten close to black holes in sci-fi books and movies. In fact, astronomers can't even see black holes directly, though there is strong evidence millions of them exist in our galaxy alone. Scientists can try to simulate a trip inside with the help of equations in Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity, which make predictions about black hole behavior, said Andrew Hamilton, a professor of astrophysics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. "Black holes are some of the simplest things in the universe. We think of them as being complicated things because they're described by complicated mathematics," Hamilton said. "But as a practical matter, they are, in fact, much simpler than the sun, far simpler than stars and infinitely simpler than human beings."

Government Mind Control
http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2009/04/26

George Knapp was joined by former mind-control victim Cathy O'Brien along with Mark Phillips, the former government employee who deprogrammed her. Together, they discussed her amazing story of surviving the MK Ultra program. O'Brien said that during her time in the program "there was much torture and trauma that was deliberately and systematically used" to turn her into a pliable human automaton. She alleged that, from there, she was used for a number of nefarious deeds, including sexual and criminal acts. She also asserted that high ranking politicians had a hand in her lengthy period of abuse.

Having been tipped off from his sources inside the intelligence community, Phillips used some "codes and keys" to break O'Brien from her spell. He said that such triggers included starting a conversation with the statement "this is God" and directing her to read Psalm 37:37 in the Bible. Phillips claimed that at the time of her rescue, O'Brien had "no awareness of anything that happened to her" and didn't even know her own name nor real age. The pair, along with O'Brien's daughter Kelly, then escaped to Alaska. It was there, O'Brien said, that she felt safe for the first time which "allowed me to remember the things I'd been tortured to forget."

O'Brien indicated that what compelled the pair to come forward with their story was a quest to find help for Kelly, who was also a victim of the mind control program. They explained that Kelly had been subjected to a more modernized form of mind control called "harmonic technologies." Phillips described the technique as using sound frequencies to scar the brain and "re-route the person's ability to think."
