NWO Zombie Apocalypse: Metallica's latest video

Those who remember the video for the song One (below the fold) will know Metallica are not just purveyors of giant slabs of metal, and the scourge of Internet file sharers (also below the fold), but they can also produce some impressive videos to accompany their rock noodlings. Their latest, for All Nightmare Long is one of their best, based on mock footage it throws in Tunguska, zombies and chemtrails with a touch of dieselpunk to produce an alternative history tale. The ending feels a little clumsy (are we watching Soviet propaganda footage or... ?) and, as not the world's biggest Metallica fan (although I have friends who could qualify) I found myself tuning out the music but the film is good enough to stand on its own.
