But regardless if it is or isn't, everyone who is living immediately before the return of Christ will be forced to take this mark in order to buy or sell anything:

The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist.

UTICA - If disaster strikes...they're ready.
Saint Elizabeth Medical Center held a training drill today at the College of Nursing.
The "point of dispensing" drill helps employees run through the procedures and routines they would undergo if a disaster - such as a pandemic - were to strike.
It began at 6 a.m. this morning and will continue through 6 p.m. tonight to make sure that all employees, volunteers and medical staff can get the flu shot, regardless of their shift.
The Utica Police and Fire Departments were also invited to take part in the drill and get the vaccine, too.
"There's nothing like the real thing, so the fact that we're actually administering the vaccine to patients makes it more valuable than if this were just a drill in which no actual vaccines were being administered," said Dr. Albert D'Accurzio, Vice President for Medical Affairs.
Staff members said that the average time to get the vaccine is three to four minutes - which is a crucial time frame in the event of a pandemic.

HOMELAND SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE/HSPD-21 states that within one year of the directive's date, 'the Secretaries of Health and Human Services and Defense, in coordination with the Secretaries of Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security, shall establish an academic Joint Program for Disaster Medicine and Public Health housed at a National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences... Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Defense authorities will be used to carry out respective civilian and military missions within this joint program.' ==================================================================
