GI Joe was just a toy, wasn't he? Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity!

The show biz newspaper Variety reports: "GI Joe is now a Brussels-based outfit that stands for Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, a World Order global police force. The IGN Entertainment news site reports Paramount is considering replacing our "real American hero" with "Action Man," member of an "international operations team."

Paramount will simply turn Joe's name into an acronym.

"I'm not going to be ground under the wheels of big government!... I'm going to create an underground organization that will bypass government restrictions, and garner power through terrorism and extortion!... I won't stop until my organization coils around the whole world like a giant cobra!"
