Despite our concerns about everything else that is going on in the world, particularly the criminal and criminally stupid actions of the Bush Administration, here is an article about the coming main event. China, and Russia, to a lesser extent, demonstrates a burgeoning capacity to knock out important elements of our national defense capability. China has already shown that it can knock out a US satellite (by doing just that, no matter what the news reports say about a demonstration shot - it was no demonstration; they did it to one of ours, and the USSR did the same, years ago). Now, it is demonstrating that it can knock out key defense computer systems. Meanwhile, it's expanding its military capability at a breakneck pace.
