"Take my house keys. Come back any time you like."
By Mark Yannone 18 Nov 2007
Marketed as a tool to empower parents, warrantless door-to-door police searches for drugs and weapons have come to Boston... But when three cops knock on their doors, will parents be too intimidated to stand on their constitutionally protected rights to tell them to go to hell? The very first year they tried this in Saint Louis, a full 98 percent of the households approached opened their doors wide and said, "Come on in!" Ninety-eight percent. Not even a Stop sign gets that level of cooperation.
