Canada, US, Mexico sign energy science, technology pact
One more peice of the North American Union in place, it would seem.
VICTORIA: Mexico, the United States and Canada Monday signed a five-year agreement they said will increase energy security, boost the economy and protect the environment.

US Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman called the agreement signed in the western city of Victoria a "milestone" on the road to "a strong, unified North American energy market."

In a joint press release, Bodman, Mexican Energy Secretary Georgina Kessel, and Canada's Minister of Natural Resources Canada Gary Lunn, said it was the first science and technology agreement in North America, where three-way energy trade is worth 150 billion dollars.
